Cycling in the Lüneburgerheide

The hotel was a short distance from the city centre. We had a spacious room on the ground floor. Too bad there was no thermostatic valve in the shower. Our breakfast of the Amselhof was fine provided by the friendly hostess.
In front of the hotel was a lot of parking for the car. The bikes we could store under the carport, there was charging possibility.
In the surrounding nature reserves there were often only sandy paths for cyclists.

Nice and cosy hotel

Nice and cosy Hotel with nice rooms and quiet place. 2 min from highway. Very good breakfast. Several restaurant ind the area. Small town but has all the restaurants and groceries you need to the 1-2 night.

Attention Norway travelers!!!

This is a halfway point from Norway to the south. A nice quiet place. Thie is a garni, so do not expect a hotel experience. No late night bar, club, conceirge ect. But a nice restful place that is 4 minutes from gas stations, restaurants and activites. Just off the freeway.
Rooms were clean and the owners were very cordial. I would stay again.

Good value, iwell situated for excursions to the Lüneburger Heide

During summer months the little villages near the Lüneburger Heide are rapidly booked out. No wonder: the heather blossom is a unique natural experience! Bispingen is a small village. You therefore cannot expect the luxury of a five stars hotel. The Amselhof stands, however, for very solid and acceptable quality. The rooms are tidy, dispose of a shower and bathroom, as well as TV and Wifi. The breakfast buffet is very good.

Trevligt ställe i närheten av Puttgarden

Hittade hotellet efter lite letande. Möttes av en trevlig värdinna. Lagom stort hotell, kändes familjärt. Mycket trevligt rum med sällskapsutrymme. Värdinnan tipsade om en restaurang där vi fick en typisk tysk god middag. Hon tipsade oss om körtid till Puttgarden och ordnade en härlig tidig frukost åt oss.
