Perfect for me!

I just realized I posted my review of this hotel to the wrong hotel! I’m correctly posting now. This was a nice stay and I want to express that.
Great choice for me!
I had the worst flight day I can remember so l had to contact Peter three or so times about my arrival. I finally made it close to 11 pm rather than early afternoon. He was absolutely
comforting! Even once said "no worries" When I did arrive I went to wrong door (my fault) and when I called he stayed on phone with me while I walked around the
corner.
My room was perfect for me, clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast had a nice selection and everything was fresh. I was met each morning at breakfast with a very pleasant and welcoming smile. Sometimes those little things are appreciated more than hotel owners realise.
There is a very nice balcony area here and it was nice to sit there and enjoy the Moselle views after walking all day. I even took my dinner there and ate one evening.
I would absolutely stay here again.

Villa Cuchema

Spent 3 nights here in September 2019. Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Great location, easy walk to the historic area, castle and restaurants. One block from the train station. No elevator, but the staff will help with bringing the luggage upstairs.

Nicely Renovated

We stayed here in 2017 when it was Pension Gundert. The hotel has since been renovated and is now Villa Cuchema. We stayed here in Sep, 2019 for 4 nights. The renovation updated all the rooms and bathrooms without changing their sizes. In general very nicely done. The bathrooms are still small but adequate. The shower stalls are very tight, w the lever water control extending 6 inches into the space. Take much care with your elbows to avoid temp surprises.
The hotel still has a nice terrace overlooking the Mosel for guests only, as well as an “honor” refrigerator stocked with wine, beer, etc. We have spent hours on the terrace in the past simply enjoying the view and meeting other guests.

Lovely hotel

This is a charming hotel with lovely proprietors. It is a very good value. One of the best features is a terrace with beautiful views. Our room was extremely clean and quiet. The bathroom was quite tight but adequate. As in many European hotels there is no elevator. All in all we had a very nice stay. The location I'd convenient, about 3 blocks to the main part of town.

Very comfortable hotel

I spent 3 nights in a single room in late August. I found my room to be extremely comfortable with everything needed, complete with small table and chair to relax in. Excellent lighting. The hotel has recently undergone room renovations with excellent results. Lovely breakfast and the staff very personable.
There is a very nice outdoor terrace facing the river for guests to use.
Also parking is available. Location is ideal, between the railway station and the central town area.
