Perfect

Place was amazing, they went above and beyond to keep me comfortable during my stay. Can't wait to come back next year to enjoy a few months off

Funky, clean and comfortable cabanas

Sherlley is the loveliest host who has a quirky style when it comes to decorating her rooms.
The exterior of each cabana are a different colour. And not westerners colours but those you often see around Panamá.
Not only the exteriors brightly painted but in the rooms, the kitchen utensils, plates, towels, bedding, table cloths and more match.
The rooms have their own saucepans, pots, pans, cutlery, plates, glassware, and so on so you can prepare a meal, which was a nice change for us.
The rooms are all very clean and have an air conditioner. Out the front, hammocks are hung from post to post.
The rooms are a mixture of double beds or in other bunk beds, single beds.
There is an undercover area that has four tables with a chairs plus a large fridge with a glass door so you can see what's inside. The sink area is good for preparation of tea and coffee.
Sherrley is clearly a very generous and kind woman. She even drove one of our team down to the supermarket to get some Coke at 10 o'clock at night. Highly recommend if you're in the area of Santa Catalina you try out these cabanas they are delightful. I will say that the power does go off every now and again which means no light no modem no nothing okay we can live with that. I wish Shelley and her family all the very best for the future, and I can't wait to see how she expands this operation in the coming years.

50 shades of purple in Panama

Each room has a theme colour. A simple but effective little novelty and I recommend the purple room where I stayed. Being on an Intrepid tour I knew all the people in the other rooms so I stuck my head into the pink, blue, green and orange rooms and maybe I’m biased but I liked the purple room best. I think they called it the lavender room actually. Anyway, the bed linen, crockery, cutlery, furniture, ornaments, even the walls were a purple/lavender. It even smelt like lavender, a nice sensory touch.
So if you have a favourite colour, here’s your chance to stay in a room that features it!

Charming cabins in isolated area

Lovely pastel colored cabins with fridge, stovetop and sink in each. No oven. Mattress was comfortable. Pillows were old, flat, and saliva stained. Bedding did not smell clean. Low lighting. A/C works well. Shower is lukewarm only. Breakfast available for purchase.
Cabins located 15-20 walk from the beach. Closest store is 15 min walk. There is a good restaurant next door.

Eyecatching stay!

We stayed here two nights as part of a group tour. We had lilac bungalow, which had more than everything we needed. All kitchen equipment, fridge, 8 beds in our room, hammock , table and chairs at the front. Two sinks and plugs to do the washing and line to hang it on. Air con and fan too.
