Amazing stay

Amazing stay. Room was totally updated and so well appointed. Perfect location to all to everything. Convienent parking. Will definitely stay again

Love the Commons. This was our 31st year here. Looking forward to next year. Accommodations are great and the staff is friendly and helpful

Wonderful Community

We love the Edgartown Commons. It is a quiet community with a great staff and wonderful neighbors. Nestled in downtown Edgartown Massachusetts, this lovely condominium is close to everything you would want or need. It is very comfortable, we have been here many times over the years and hope to come back again very soon. 5 stars out of 5 on every metric. Chick and Anne Evans

Edgartown commons has been a family destination for years. In fact, we started the tradition almost 10 years ago (in September), we walked past EC and booked it simply bc it was close to nightlife and my sister was turning 21. While we have friends and family on the island we could stay with, we still choose quiet Edgartown Commons for respite. The last trip we did have some issues with the older unit we received. In the past, we’ve had nothing but clean and updated experiences so we chalked it up to an older model and continued on with our stay. Upon hearing at the end of last trip it was the “more affordable option because of its appearance” (to rephrase kindly), I chose to pay a little more attention when booking and sought out a more expensive unit. Lo and behold, I ended up in that same corner apartment. It simply didn’t make sense that after choosing an “higher tier” unit, we’d end up with the one dubbed “outdated but more affordable”. After two of our four days, my mother (who I had stay with us for half of the stay) mentioned something to the front desk. I didn’t expect anything but was going to continue on and likely book elsewhere in the fall - however, the woman at the desk so kindly adjusted our stay and put us in the adjacent room. Our new room was updated, clean, felt cared for and even included board games for the kids. Unfortunately it was two days in, but at this point, we just felt thankful. We also lost the late check out that we paid for when we switched rooms but the days itself was overcast and gray so we shipped out early anyway. Overall, I’m thankful the EC was willing to work with us and provide a solution - I think it’s great they have a pricing model that feels appropriate to them and to their guests. Hopefully if we end up back this year, we end up in one of the nicer units. I still highly recommend EC to those who wish to find a quiet part of the island that still is accessible to food food, shopping, and other things to do. The upgrades to the park look great - my kids were so excited seeing the little library being put in. If you’re considering a stay in Edgartown, I think you’ll love the rustic, cape-y feel and nicely furnished units.
