Very good stay.
Very simple, very clean very quiet and very cheap.
I will return to this property during a future stay in Nice with my eyes closed.

A Simple and Affordable Option in Nice
The reception staff were kind, polite and helpful during both check-in and check-out, and they spoke good English as well as French. The hotel is very close to Nice-Ville train station, just about a three-minute walk away, and the city centre and Promenade des Anglais are around 20 minutes on foot.
I stayed in a small single room of around 8 m² on the fifth and top floor. The room had everything essential for a short stay: a bed, desk and chair, air conditioning, TV, clothes hangers, a shelf and a private bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom, but this was not a major issue for me.
The room was cleaned every day and the staff replaced the toiletries when needed. The overall cleanliness was acceptable, although it was not always spotless and there were some marks on the sheets towards the end of my stay. Occasionally there was also an unpleasant smell, probably coming from the bathroom, although it was not constant. The air conditioning worked well and made the room comfortable, especially during the warm days.
The main downside is that there is no elevator, so reaching the fifth floor requires quite a few stairs. The stairway is also a little uneven and not particularly comfortable. The Wi-Fi signal was rather weak on the fifth floor, so I mostly used my mobile data instead. The view from my room was also nothing special, overlooking an enclosed courtyard between buildings.
The hotel entrance is locked after midnight and can be opened with the code provided at check-in. The room itself is accessed with a magnetic key card.
I paid around €350 for three nights, which I consider reasonable for Nice, especially given the excellent proximity to the train station. For a young solo traveller looking for a simple and affordable alternative to a hostel, this can be a good choice if you do not mind the small rooms and the lack of an elevator.
Overall, this is not a top-of-the-range hotel, but it offers the essentials at a relatively reasonable price and has a very convenient location. It is particularly suitable for travellers who are looking for a basic place to sleep without spending too much, rather than for those expecting comfort, spacious rooms or a more polished experience. For these reasons, I would rate my stay three stars on Tripadvisor.

clean, helpful front desk staff the only downside lacks elevator but value for money it works.
