Holiday at Raid Melhoun in Marrakesh

The Raid Melhoun in Marrakesh is just wonderful. It is beautifully presented, run with care and well maintained and all of the staff are friendly, attentive and interested. It is just like the photos online. We are having our final breakfast before leaving for home and have been told that we are family and to come back for a swim anytime. This is definitely where I will return to. Thank you for a wonderful Marrakech experience.

No where better

From the moment we arrived after the hectic airport then the transfer we entered a calm relaxed beautiful hotel.We were greeted like friends and were given a history of the building and told that whilst staying we were to treat it as our own home . We were given mint tea and homemade biscuits and it was just perfect.
Everyone was so kind and attentive .
Our room was beautiful ,decorated with rose petals and flowers and facilities were great , the rainfall shower , towels , robes , slippers made us feel at home , and the best thing no tv ! .They asked if we wanted to eat at the hotel that night and after asking what we didn’t like and asking what time we wanted to eat that was it . We ate downstairs around the small central pool and as the food came out they explained what it was and how it was prepared, the starter was 2 traditional dips with warm bread , omg sooo good, then a traditional tagine with chicken that just fell apart , for desert a chocolate mousse. We had no idea what was coming no menu to pick from just wonderful homemade food that tasted out of this world. Next morning we took breakfast on the terrace upstairs, yogurt, cake , pancakes, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee. We stayed for 4 nights and had another evening meal on the last night which once again was a mystery until beautiful food arrived freshly cooked . We also had the couples Haman and massage whilst there which was great, so relaxing and the rooms they used are perfect with relaxing music , candles , so peaceful. This place made such an amazing impression on both of us and we will go back, it really was the best place to stay , everything had been done to make your stay memorable. I could literally go on and on about it but go see for yourself, this is a very special place that will be almost impossible to beat

Best Riad in Morocco by far ❤️

Where do I start with this review? This Riad has been simply amazing. From the moment we arrived to such a warm and welcoming atmosphere the Riad is simply stunning. The room was absolutely beautiful set up in the rooftop such a quiet and peaceful space just beautiful so clean tidy and had a lovely little extras in the room for us arriving. We started our first night with the home-cooked mail which was beautiful no menus and you just simply sit down and wander at the feast set in front of you home-made fresh and just stunning. The staff were amazing a special shout out to the Riad manager nour to Muhammad, Abdul and dream girl ( sorry cannot remember real beautiful Arabic name but she quite fondly said we could use dream) also the cleaning staff , spa staff and amazing cooks who made some of the most amazing food we had in the whole of the Marrakesh. Highly recommend eating in the riad such a special experience. This is quite simply 5 star ⭐ service at its best !! My husband had an amazing massage while I had a cookery lesson which was very enjoyable we then had this for our lunch Moroccan lemon chicken so delicious.
I could go on for ever and ever on how great this riad was and we will most definitely be back again. My husband Robert and o cannot thank the staff enough for making our stay so special

5 Stars, one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in

We were blown away by the Riad Melhoun. Very well located in the old town of Marrakech, the hotel is a restored old building but had all of the modern conveniences you would come to expect. The area is safe and within a 5 minute (cobblestone) walk from the nearest "parking lot" where taxis can pick up and many day tours depart (for reference, it would be nearly impossible for vehicles to come to the front door of the Riad).
We had two rooms, one of which was styled after a caravan tent with an elaborate roof and design. Rooms were spacious and clean. Linens and beddings were clean and crisp. Our rooms were very comfortable and restful.
More than anything, we were very impressed by the service. Jamal was incredibly kind to us and very helpful in navigating Marrakech, setting up dinner reservations for our family, and providing recommendations on day trips outside of the city. We felt very well looked after and taken care of with Jamal and his colleagues' help and kindness.
The hotel staff prepares breakfast for you each morning (have to request the time the day before) which was superb. Make sure to try the msemen (moroccan pancakes). If you have a chance, make sure to have dinner at the Riad. Their chicken tagine rivals anything you'll find in the city and the service was outstanding.
We would absolutely stay here again next time we're in Marrakech. Thank you to the Riad Melhoun for your hospitality and kindness to our family.

5 star experience

We have had an amazing time here in Marrakech and staying at Riad Melhoun & Spa. The Riad is absolutely stunning and is located in a prime location, walking distance from anywhere you need to go. The staff have been so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, breakfast has been fantastic every morning on the rooftop and the terrace is perfect to relax in the sun and dip in the small pool to cool off, this made our stay very relaxing. Thank you to everybody we met working at Riad Melhoun, you made our stay very special and we would 100% come back again in the future!
