Very good value for money
We didn’t have breakfast there, partly because the (otherwise really nice) ladies at reception told us different versions of what the breakfast would cost: buffet with full price for children, a la carte order and on two days later it was half price for children…I personally think operational processes are the weak spot at the QT Perth.

Right on the money is just where we like to be. We love to add little extra touches to exceed expectations every time. We’re so happy it all added up to worth it for you too. Can we expect you for another round soon?

Nice hotel but mickey mouse operations and hidden fee.
Firstly our physical arrival was extremely difficult due to the operations of a large mobile crane on the street outside, which caused the street itself to be blocked off at either end. I understand of course that this was outside the hotels control but no effort had been made to tell us via email or text about the obstruction and that we could approach the barrier to be let through. We drove around the block to find the other end of the street was also blocked, and had to find interim parking on a nearby street and walk to the hotel to see what the situation was. The concierge lady (very nice and friendly to be fair) advised me how to get through the barrier and where to stop for valet parking, which we did.
Checkin was routine (although the check-in lady didn't exactly exude a warm welcome). In the room there was a welcoming gift as I had said it was a special occasion for us which was a very thoughtful touch. The room itself was very nice.
We had dinner in-house which was nice but well on the expensive side. No one dines in-house in a quality hotel restaurant expecting a cheap meal but charging $38 for a single glass of Rosé seems pretty steep. We went upstairs to the rooftop bar after dinner to settle in for the evening.
This bar was pretty much the main reason I had chosen the hotel as it had received positive reviews with a good vibe. It was advertised as "open till 12 midnight" but shortly after 1040 pm (give or take a few minutes) security came round informing us it was "last orders" as a decision had been made to close at 11. I was astonished and frankly, bloody annoyed at this.
I had paid a good price for a good room in what I thought was a good hotel only to find they were pulling this kind of amateur-hour stunt. I can only assume it was because of crowd numbers as while it was far from empty it wasn't the bustling crowded bar I had expected. This left an extremely sour taste in my mouth but we accepted it and left.
Breakfast in the hotel was nice and (also to be fair) the wait staff were pleasant and friendly. However on checkout I was flabbergasted to be hit with an unannounced valet parking fee of $75. When I questioned it to the staff and said no one had said anything about any valet fee let alone such an extortionate one, they advised me it was on the checkin confirmation email. I pulled up the confirmation email to show them that it was not there and I also advised that the concierge lady who advised me about valet parking had made no mention of it. I requested to speak to a senior manager but was advised he"wasn't there till Tuesday" (this was Sunday midday). She acknowledged that there was no notification of the charge either on the email or from the concierge but said "...anyway the fee is $75"
By this stage I was totally unimpressed and, firmly biting my tongue to avoid rudeness and wanting no more to do with them, I paid the fee and left.
Was it a nice hotel? - Yes
Will I go back there ? - VERY unlikely.
Will I tell everyone? Also Yes
If they feel their fees are fair then they shouldn't hide them. If their bar hours are not "fixed" then they should also let people know ahead of time.
Overall the experience left a sour taste on what was a special occasion for us.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Dinner at Santini Grill was delicious, we had the tasting menu with pairing of wine for each course.
