Holidays with friends

Thank you for the nice welcomes in the room, as in the photo.
You will of course also be greeted personally at the reception.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Melk near the motorway entrance and exit. On foot you are in 10min in the city center. The Hipfingers are very nice hosts with a great restaurant where their own Highland cattle are on the menu. In addition, there are many products from the area, we vegetables, fish, etc. Not to be despised are the good wines, the homemade lemonades, cocktails and all sorts of other drinksspecialties.
The hotel has its own underground car park and bicycle parking.
After the perfect breakfast, the journey continues.
We are always happy to be able to holiday with friends in the Wachau. We will definitely come back.

Hotel for cyclists and Wachau lovers!

On my bike trip I stayed at the Hotel Wachau for the second time.
It is slightly elevated and gives a wonderful view of the surrounding area!
I will definitely come back, the facilities, service and breakfast made me feel at home. Heidi Aschberger

You just need cool weather and a car

Hotel Wachau is well located if you have a car. Otherwise it’s a mile uphill from the centre. The food was delicious. The bedroom was large but much too hot to sleep well as there is no air conditioning and not even a fan to cool the air down a little.

Ideal hotel for touring the whole Wachau

We spent a few days on holiday in the Wachau, the Danube region, among abbeys, castles and cellars where we could taste local wines. This hotel close to everything, river navigation port on the Danube, motorway, cycle and pedestrian path was the perfect base, with convenient covered parking also available. Large room with terrace, large and functional bathroom, truly super breakfast. Truly super service and courtesy. There is also a spa area with a sauna. Really satisfied, thank you, we will be back soon!

Good quiet hotel

Comfortable rooms, good service and great food. The food is appropriate for fine dining. The menu and prices are reasonable.
Beds are super comfortable, I slept very well!
