A successful return for this iconic address

A huge bravo to the children of the founder who have done an incredible job and manage to revive this mythical place while bringing their signature: the setting is completely renovated, elegant and friendly, while respecting the family heritage. New decor, tasty cuisine in this warm and festive restaurant as beautiful as ever! The welcome is attentive, professional and authentic, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The cocktails are fabulous! A successful renaissance for an address full of history. ❤️

The best option in Cotonou

After staying during my first trips to Cotonou in hotels of international chains, I happened by chance with this family hotel; since then I always return to him.
The restaurant with amazing homemade food, the good atmosphere of the cafeteria, the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the service. And also in the center of Cotonou.

I stayed in that hotel for 5 nights.
Room : Good size and very clean
Price : Decent
Restaurant: Good
Wifi: Good
Laundery: Quick
Transport Accomodation: Taxi in front of the hotel but the price is a bit high.
All in all, I liked the place and definitly will stay there in the future.

Hotel Acropole

My Standard Double room was basic, but perfectly comfortable.
The empty fridge was soon stocked with drinks from the shop across the street. Drinking glasses were provided on request. The desk was perfect to set up my laptop. The free WiFi was relatively fast. There was plenty of closet space. I had no hot water at first, but the problem was soon dealt with.
The way the bed is made up (see pictures), it seems as if only a bottom sheet is provided. In fact, the pictures show the top sheet, while the bottom sheet is hidden underneath.
An ashtray was provided on request. I assume smoking is allowed in all rooms.
Through an Internet reservation, I paid 73 EUR for the first 2 days. When I wanted to extend my stay, I was offered a rate of 35000 CFA (53 EUR), which is good value for Cotonou. Dealing directly with the hotel is the smart way to go!

The Most Comfortable Hotel In Cotonou

This is one of the most comfortable Hotels in Cotonou. The mother and son duo run a excellent hotel with all basic amenities. The rooms are comfortable with aircon, hot and cold water and a comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and always willing to help.
The restaurant where lot of local people gather is minimal with excellent espresso available. The bar is well stocked and has two pool tables make for a excellent evening after a hard days work.
