Good clean hotel

Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff.
Breakfast good variety of fruit, bread, croissants, eggs.
Good location, in the city but can't hear much noise from traffic. Security at entrance so not everyone can just walk in.

Hotel Elais - Good for one night, but not good for any more than that.

Location is fine, not to far away from stores and the airport.
For english speaking individuals it can be difficult to communicate to some of the staff members creating an awkward atmosphere.
Rooms are okay, aircons are dirty causing a stench mold smell. Bar fridges are old and noisy. Old shower heads and there was zero soap in my dispensers. Some rooms have faulty windows so be prepared to have 100 mosquitoes in your room.
Food is honestly not the greatest but a meal nonetheless. Never have any beverages in stock that is listed on the menu. Food is always cooked together meaning that your steak has a fish smell and chicken has a weird fish taste to it too. The best part about the stay here is when you check out.

First of all, during your stay, none of the issues you mentioned were ever reported to our team. As a result, everything appeared to be satisfactory from our perspective. Making such statements afterward, without having given us the opportunity to intervene, unfairly affects the image of our establishment.
We are fully aware that the hotel requires renovation, and this is already planned. However, the quality of our service remains our top priority, and our staff is always available to assist guests whenever a concern is raised.
Regarding mosquitoes, we are located in a tropical area where their presence is inevitable despite our daily treatments and preventive measures.
We are glad to know that, at the very least, the checkout was a positive moment for you we would have preferred to make the rest of your stay just as pleasant, had you informed us of any inconvenience.

Excellent service , clean room, best food in Uma restaurant. I met à nice manager called Antonio he guider me through Pointe noire.

Shocking Hotel

Avoid like the Plauge, Food terrible rooms have really poor Air Conditioning the place is unkempt and management don't care and talk to you like a nobody, I've been told 4 times thay will fix air con but the keep sending people with no intention of fixing, rooms need fumigation see attached photos, never know anything like it, they use the pool for survival training and the hotel is full of workers! Day and Night if you know what I mean

Not bad, but it needs a lot of maintenance and better cleaning. The best is Tue breakfast!
