Excellent Boutique Hotel Los Balcones

The room and service are very good; they make you feel at home. Additionally, the location is favorable for walking in the historic center of Cuenca, which is an attractive city for tourism.

The staff went out of their way to help. The restaurant was the best food in Cuenca and very inexpensive.

The staff were great. The property is well maintained. We stayed in the efficiency rooms and not the more charming rooms in the main building, but it was nice to have the extra room and kitchenette. It was reasonably priced and a convenient place from which to explore Quito.

Beautiful boutique hotel in central Cuenca. I love the decorations and the staff was helpful and kind. Very clean. Comfortable mattress. Breakfast is good. My only recommendation is for light sleepers. If that is you, bring some kind of white noise machine or fan. The walls are somewhat thin and the street noice can reverberate. I have such a machine (small one) that I carry when I travel and ear plugs. I needed both and those were sufficient for me to get some sleep.

Good hotel with ideal location.

We spent 4 nights with our tour group there and had the beautiful 3-star hotel practically “exclusive” to ourselves. Of course, in the street-side rooms you get some traffic noise, but at night it is quiet. The clean rooms are very different in size and shape. We were lucky with #2, since and its decor style liked, Only the bathroom is a bit small for 2 people here. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast was ok: Good coffee, fresh fruit, changing cakes and toasted bread to bake, changing cakes, as well as cheese, sausage, egg dishes. The service is friendly and helpful. The location of the house is ideal for visiting the old town with its churches, squares and markets
