Beautiful views and secluded location

We stopped here for a single night during a road trip. We didn’t get to take advantage, but it was nice that they have some items included in the booking you can benefit from like a canopy zip line.
It is a very spread out property so if arriving later in the night I would suggest finding out where your room will be. We drove up a very steep hill and had nowhere to turn around (where reception was) because the rooms closest had cars there.
Our room was up another very steep and windy hill. Parking spots are available for each of the cabins there and they are made for small to average size cards.
The room we were in was very large. You walked across a little bridge into the house. Entering in the second floor there was a king bed and a small seating area along with a narrow balcony with a gorgeous view. You have lots of windows throughout to appreciate your surroundings although a few more screened windows instead of solid windows that don’t open would make the air flow a bit better.
Down the floating stairs, you had a TV and sofa. Also a large bathroom with walking shower and a sizeable outdoor balcony with a jacuzzi hot tub.
Breakfast was served near our cabin in the upper area which is also where a pool was. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding rainforest. We also saw many hummingbirds and Agouti (seems like a relative of the capybara). It made for a nice morning. It consisted of coffee, huevos fritos or rueltos. We also had some bread and fruit along with some tegrillo. Simple and fairly good.
It’s a really lovely spot, it is a bit outside of the downtown which is fine. The roads are just a little rough, but you should be prepared for that regardless of where you stay.

A place that would come back a thousand times

I had one of the best experiences at Terrabambu Restaurant Lodge. The place is simply amazing, surrounded by nature and with a unique tranquility. The service was very good, all super friendly and attentive, and I loved the food too. It really is a place I would come back to without thinking.

Serene Cloudforest Hideaway

We had an incredible time; the rain was so relaxing alongside the expansive views and quiet atmosphere. The rooms were modern and the food was great. Solid value for the level of comfort, quality of service and proximity to the main town. Everything was clean and the area felt so safe.

Best place in Mindo

I had the best experience in Terrabambu. Everything was amazing, the accommodation, the pool, the food, the beautiful views and all the birds we could see. I am very happy with this trip

Amazing lodges

We had a fantastic lodge overlooking the cloud forest. The view was spectacular and this is a great place to bird watch. The lodge has a great hot tub on the terrace. The cabins are on two levels and we were on the highest - breakfast was hosted on a terrace on that level and it was very lovely. We particularly loved the fresh juice. The swimming pool was great after a day of hiking. The food in the restaurant was really tasty, they have a pizza oven and the pizzas were amazing. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay whilst in Mindo!
