Hôtel Bellevue ligt in het stadscentrum van Brest, op 5 minuten lopen van het treinstation. Het hotel biedt kamers met een eigen badkamer, een flatscreen-tv en gratis WiFi.

The hospitality at Hotel Bellevue is beyond First Class. They respond quickly and fully to emails and do everything they can to ensure that the guest is taken care of. If one arrives before or after business hours, they will provide details of how to enter, and they leave a room number and key on the counter. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though this time there was a slight musty and unpleasant smell. All in all, a superb hotel. It was my third visit In the past year.

No kettle or coffee maker in room, had to travel down from 5th floor to make a hot drink.
Bathroom was tiny.
Staff lacked customer service skills.
Had to wait outside front door until someone opened the locked door, to check in.

Bedding hygiene: very disappointing
Bedding with a strong odor of sweat coming clearly from the mattress, as if someone were leaving a gym. No room available: we simply turned the mattress over and changed the flat sheet... but the underlay was not replaced, so the smell remained impregnated.
After my complaint, I was told that “everything had been settled” thanks to the employee’s intervention, and that a photo had to be sent... Too bad we could not photograph an odor.
It should be noted that there had been a stay the night before in this room, and that when I arrived the window had remained wide open, a sign that it had been necessary to ventilate at length.
No commercial gesture despite the discomfort. Very unpleasant experience that I advise against.

A nice enough place with very helpful staff. Fell short on amenities and location. There was no in room coffee/tea making facilities, no ice, no facial tissues, and very little parking facilities. The sea view was a restricted view of the harbor. Restaurants and dining was not close although there was a limited bar across the street and a convenience store a couple of blocks away.

Too bad...
Good value for money but what a pity there is no soundproofing between the rooms. Between the noise of the doors, the elevator of the shower of the neighbor next door and the one above that vomited, the night was not very relaxing....
