The highlight of our stay in France

The stay at Chez Brown exceeded our expectations in every regard from the warm welcome by Noel and Lyndsey to their family home to the delicious food cooked each night and morning. The rooms have an old world rustic charm. We had Le Marais room and it was spacious and very well appointed with notably a very comfortable bed and a hot and powerful shower. The gardens have the feel of a cottage garden with fruit trees and veggie garden and so many little areas to rest and contemplate the world we struggled to find them all. The adorable grandchildren who were staying at the time as well as the the family pets, 2 friendly and loveable hounds completed the picture. This B and B was the best place we have stayed during our French road trip. The other guests were often cyclists and we hired bikes and visited local villages and markets also.

Museum-hotel with a luxurious garden

This is an extraordinary place. The feeling of falling into a fairy tale. I would say that it is a museum-hotel with a luxurious garden. Every corner of the house and garden is decorated with great love and soul. The owners are very friendly, kind and cook delicious food. We had a very beautiful and comfortable room, in which we wanted to consider every detail. I highly recommend this place so that you too can immerse yourself in this incredible atmosphere.

Fantastic, thoughtful hosts, beautiful place and setting

It was the personalised care and attention of Lindsay and Noel that made our 3-day stay such a truly wonderful experience. Chez Brown is full of charm and the gardens just beautiful. But for someone with dietary restrictions and not expecting much, Lindsay's breakfasts made specifically for me were delicious and so very much appreciated! Thank you both - we were sad to leave....say hello to the dogs and chickens :)

A hidden rustic gem with great hosts

What a fantastic unique stay.
Lindsey and Noel are fantastic hosts, very welcoming and their home was spotless.
A rustic style property run by a lovely English couple. The rooms were spotless.
The property itself is just on the outskirts of St Thomas De Conac. There are some fabulous walks and an amazing local restaurant. Saying that , the food that Lindsey and Noel created was of restaurant quality. Fresh, tasty and very accommodating to my needs as a coeliac.
What a fabulous find!
Thank you for a fabulous stay.- will definitely be returning to the hidden gem!

Wonderful

We were met with a warm welcome from a gorgeous couple, plus lovely dogs. Our room was spacious and the bed very inviting. Dinner was superb and the hosts very welcoming. Had a great evening., chatted into the wee hours. Had a very good night's sleep and were welcomed to a simple and sumptuos breakfast. We would recommend 'Chez Brown" for a very relaxed stay.
