Good value and quiet

Although a bit dated, the bungalows were comfortable and reasonably clean.
We enjoyed how quiet it was here with only two other bungalows on the property. The beachfront location was wonderful too.
Having transport is a must - as with most of Tahiti - to get to places to eat in nearby Taravoa.
The accommodation was affordable by Tahitian standards, but quite basic.

Absolute beach front, quiet, comfortable, perfect

This was not 5 star aqccommodation, but it was exactly what we were looking for Right on the beach, quiet, private, hot water, big bathroom, air conditioning/mosquito screens, very handy kitchen, lovely deck, good location (near supermarket and restaurants), very kind and helpful staff, good price. They even had some things we didn''t expect - like Netflix on the TV in bedroom! WE were really happy with our stay and woudl recommend it to others.

Lovely rustic bungalows, good value for money

Lovely rustic bungalows on a black sand beach. Aircon and Netflix in bedroom.
Really welcoming and helpful hosts who will help out with any queries, and even showed me some great sightseeing spots in the drive there.
Good value for money and highly recommended

Wonderful Place to Stay in Tahiti

My fellow traveler and I had a wonderful experience staying at Fare Areaera. The host Carlos, and his assistant Loreli, were so helpful and cheery. Carlos spoke excellent English. We could the surf nearby at night! They also have the most delightful little dog -Fare, and a very friendly cat as well. The cottage was good, with all of the basics you would need in the kitchen. Hot water only in the shower, and we did have some issues with loose screening and a few mosquitos. Be sure and pack insect repellant if you travel to French Polynesia of course. All in all, I highly recommend Fare Areaera if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay where you can cook for yourself. We stayed for 10 days.

Fare Arearea

The owner Carlos took me to this place whilst I was staying in his apartment in Papeete.
This place is rustic paradise yet still close to town.
Carlos went way above and beyond the hospitality I expected to make my stay in Tahiti the best it could be.
Carlos is a fantastic host and both this property and his apartment (Fare Arearea Sweet) in Papeete are recommended.
