Nice location

Short trip from Friday to Sunday to Laboe for the Dragon Festival. Very friendly staff and very clean room. Nice central location.

Actually too good to recommend!

The hotel was a wonderful positive surprise. Price performance ratio unbeatably good. The whole staff attentive and very friendly. Food in the restaurant very good. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great time in your house.

Delightful

Arrived at Kiel Train Station mid-morning and took the city bus to Laboe, about an hour's ride (lots of stops and Sandstrasse is the end of the line.) If it had not been a misty rain, it would have been a lovely walk along the beach promenade from the bus stop to the hotel, about 20 minutes. I did take a taxi back to Kiel Station, which took about 20 minutes and about 13 euros plus tip.
My room was ready so I took my bag up to a very charming room. I was overlooking the shore, with a wonderful view, and could also see the U-boat, U995, just down the street.
The sun came out after I visited the U-boat and naval museum, so I enjoyed a beer on the terrace.
Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and service excellent.
My room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
Breakfast is served a bit late (seaside resort), so when I reserved my taxi for the morning, I inquired about a to-go breakfast.
The taxi was on the dot, and I had very nice breakfast sandwich with fresh fruit, juice and coffee, to take with me.
Price was exceptionally good, but the season may not yet have started.

Open spaciousness and ease!

When we arrived the woman at the counter who was also serving food in the restaurant said there was not room for 3 people... until we said we wanted 2 nights... and suddenly there was space.
She showed us the apartment and we were suddenly a Yes! It was spacious, had a well supplied kitchen a room with a king bed and a pullout bed in the spacious living area. The bathroom had warm floors, towel warming rack and a shower for two or more. There was a balcony that opened to a small view of the Baltic Sea shore but we could feel it without seeing it.
The colors and ambiance were very current and bright. We totally enjoyed our two nights there,.
The local grocery store was a pleasure to shop in and had a great variety of food that we needed.

Lovely hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights, the staff were friendly, some of them struggled with our German and we with their English but it made it a fun stay! Our room was clean, well equipped and perfect for our stay. The breakfast was excellent, we also ate in the restaurant and again the food was very good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Labor
