Unexpected Surprise

You don't expect it in Neustrelitz, but it's there anyway.
What a fantastically beautiful Hotel with a wonderfully quiet location lots of history and a wonderful spa.
Food in the restaurant is high quality and breakfast is also good

Top Hotel

We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout, which really sets the tone for a place like this.
Our room was large, comfortable and well-equipped, exactly what you want after a busy day. Cleanliness was spot on, no complaints there at all.
Breakfast was really good quality, though slightly inconsistent. Some items appeared on the menu one day and not the next, and at busier times the staff were clearly a little stretched. A few extra hands at breakfast would make a big difference, but it’s a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things.
We didn’t use the spa or pool during our visit, but both looked lovely and the spa prices seemed very reasonable for treatments, definitely something we’d take advantage of next time. The bar and public areas are beautifully decorated too, though as we were there for a group party with organised events, we didn’t really get a chance to make the most of them.
The grounds are pretty and well-kept, and the location is ideal, just a few minutes’ walk from the town and the lake.
All in all, a stunning place to stay. We’d happily come back.

A splendid find

Oh my. My wife and I were simply meandering through Northern Germany when we stumbled upon Neustrelitz. And then found Schlosshotel. Planned to spend one night, but spent two. Would have stayed longer but we had a prior appontment elsewhere. This place is magical. Staff is beyond friendly. Restaurant is superb. Salon was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful experience Team Schlosshotel. Well done.

Highly recommended!

An impressive hotel created from a historic palace.
Professionally built while maintaining all historic preservation requirements, yet with great attention to detail!!! A 'retreat' in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
Particularly noteworthy is the excellent cuisine ***plus, the individual design of the rooms, as well as the location on the outskirts of Neustrelitz. The friendly staff complements the extremely positive overall impression.

Absolutely recommended, very romantic

We spent a super great short vacation here. We attended the La Dolce Vita summer festival on the very day of our arrival. With a super delicious three-course meal, accompanied by well-chilled drinks and appropriate entertainment, the mild summer evening unfortunately went by much too quickly. A special thanks goes to the ever-present hostess, Ms. Westermann, and her entire team.
