Best hotel. Nothing could be better. Very nice old building, friendly staff and a superb restaurant. Ofcourse great location also.

A nice evening with nice service

A nice hotel in a very picturesque town in Lower Saxony. The hotel has its own restaurant with well-prepared and tasty food and a cosy pub with the possibility to sit outside. The room was very spacious with a good bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Satisfied and alert visitors easily made their way on their journey.

No 4 stars!!

When we would check in in the evening the receptionist sat and worked in front of his PC and was more concentrated on it than receiving guests. When he was done, he turned his attention to us but then the phone rang and then he took that call and we had to wait. After a while the call was over and he turned to us again but then the phone rang again and he took that call too so we had to wait again. Now there were also another couple waiting to check in. Incredibly poor service by prioritizing the phone over guests who want to check in. Once we get our room, there is a huge "furniture" in the middle of the room that takes up a lot of space and becomes an "obstacle" (see picture). The breakfast is very simple and it was not cleaned away from previous breakfast guests so the majority of the tables were not cleaned and set up for new guests. It seemed that the breakfast staff was also in charge of the reception.
