Watch out! Risk of falling without protection. No apology to be expected in the event of an accident. If that's how you treat your guests, well .
Unfortunately, this place is not recommended.

Has potential, but not safe at night!

I was very much looking forward to this adventure upon my arrival. Camping is quite familiar to me, so I was aware that no hotel standard was to be expected here. In general, the campsite is very nicely located and offers excellent access to the old town of Chania, the excursion train, public transport, and the surrounding beaches.
Nevertheless, there are some points I would like to mention.
The most important aspect concerns safety on the premises during the night. Apparently, there is no security service at night, and the side entrance directly behind the restroom building remains unmonitored and freely accessible. This led to an extremely traumatic experience for me.
There are several bars in the vicinity, and the adjacent dirt path is apparently often used at night by young local men. When I had to use the restroom around 1:30 AM, a group of about five men, who were not staying at the campsite, had positioned themselves directly behind the sanitation building and were apparently waiting specifically for women passing by. As I later learned, this was not supposed to be the first time.
During my restroom visit, I already heard noises and rustling in the area of the sinks. Therefore, I decided to leave the building from the opposite side. At the moment I left the restroom stall, the men appeared. They began to follow me, threw stones and water bottles in my direction, and tried to intimidate or encircle me. They laughed, spoke to each other in Greek, and continued to follow me while throwing more objects at me.
Only when I reached the area of the tents, shouted for help, and other guests came out of their tents, did the men stop pursuing me. They ran away laughing and made sexual gestures in the process.
Fortunately, this was my last night at the campsite, and my vacation was about to end. However, after this incident, I could not close my eyes anymore. Under these security conditions, I will not visit the site again. I find it particularly concerning that it was mentioned to me that similar incidents have already occurred multiple times and that these groups regularly attempt to enter the premises through the side entrance.
Furthermore, I would like to mention a few additional points regarding the facilities and organization:
• Bed linen should not be charged extra – not even in the family tents. Especially on nights with temperatures around 14 degrees, this should naturally be included in the price.
• The showers and sanitary facilities are clearly outdated and could use renovation.
• People live on the premises in areas that appear to be heavily littered. Regardless of the living conditions, I find this inappropriate for a vacation establishment. Guests expect a well-maintained environment. These areas should at least be kept clean or shielded by appropriate privacy measures, such as wooden cladding.
• In my view, the chickens are kept under very poor conditions. They live in an extremely small wire cage, which does not convey a sense of humane treatment.
• I would like to highlight a staff member at the reception who was always friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the entire staff. At times, I had the impression that staff members were mocking guests in Greek and were condescending towards certain nationalities. I find this to be extremely concerning. Most guests come with friendly intentions and wish for a peaceful, nature-oriented vacation. When someone made a mistake out of ignorance, there were sometimes unreasonably harsh reactions or even laughter. I remember hospitality differently.
• In the interest of a more sustainable and higher-quality design, I would recommend covering the sandy ground in the common areas with bark mulch or similar natural materials. This would reduce dust, enhance the visual appeal, and simultaneously benefit the olive trees.
In principle, this campsite has significantly more potential than is currently being utilized. Considering the price-performance ratio, one could have found a simple hotel room in the area for an additional charge of only 10 to 20 euros per night.
Despite all the criticisms, I had a really nice vacation overall and enjoyed some great relaxing days at the site. However, I was unfortunately not satisfied with my stay at this campsite.

Mobile home stinks and has come down

The mobile homes smell fashionable, slatted frame of the upper bunk bed sags, hotplates totally rusted. That's not what holidays look like.
