Emerald hotel

I had a great time. You'll get used to the planes. It is all just a little smaller than the pictures on the site suggest, but the atmosphere is top notch. Clean hotel. Very nice staff at the reception and in the service. Fine restaurants in Kremasti. Lovely sunbeds on the beach. Bring water shoes. Or rent a car and drive to the east coast.

Very noisy and not close to much.

On arrival we new we had to pay some money but not 340 euros if we wanted to include air con,we did decline and did manage without it throughout our stay.There was no oven,microwave or toaster which for self catering was a shock.We spoke to staff where we were told you have two rings to cook other then that we do food allday which comes at a charge.Ended up buying a toaster from the supermarket.Staff were nice and cleaners did a great job only thing they were very noisy early mornings so up early and hardly any sleep due to noisy guest and the aeroplanes going over most of the night and allday.The planes are very loud.Beds are very comfortable and hotel nice and clean,pool area nice and no trouble getting beds so no rush in the mornings.No food or drinks around the pool area only ones bought from the bar which i feel is wrong as we are self catering meaning buy food and drinks from anywhere you want.There is not much at all in the area and 25-30 euros each way to Rhodes centre or Falaraki.Overall we wouldn't go back Too noisy,expensive and out of the way.

The pool area was nice, friendly staff. But the apartment was full of ants, there weren't enough utensils in the kitchen, the cleaning was half-hearted. Check-out at 11 from the room and it cost 45 euros to extend to 18. Since the journey home was late in the evening, one of the children also had a virus and vomited, but we still had to sit in the lobby from 6 to 10 with other guests waiting for their journeys home.

Will visit again!

I loved this hotel, very quiet location, the hotel staff are friendly and very welcoming! They truly give you the real Greek experience, rooms are a bit tired but still fully functional and very clean, staff gave their knowledge on quiet local beaches and places to visit. Greek night was a huge hit with my family everyone dancing, laughing and eating. Pool service in the day made it a truly relaxing holiday!

Great place to stay!

Really enjoyed our time at the Emerald Hotel. Had a v large 2 bed studio on the first floor. Staff here are really great. Cleaners came almost every day with new towels, bedding etc.. and were so friendly.
Pool area kept v well also and always loads of sunloungers, no matter what time you arrive.
Just a small note, not much cooking facilities in the room (we ate out every night so not a big deal) and we had to pay double for air con because we had two bedrooms.
But overall a really nice place that is great value for money
