Lygies studios combines quality and comfort with an informal, friendly ambience. The distance from Argostoli airport is approximately 20km. Does what it says on the tin.

It’s a room, with a pool. But it’s fabulous for the price. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and soon got back to basics and enjoyed it
Tips would be to enjoy your stay - hire a car. Bring trainers due to location. Probably a few spare towels incase they miss a cleaning day.

The studios a very clean, but the property is in desperate need of maintenance. The photos on the Tui app/website are years out of date.

You get what you pay for!

We stayed at Lygies for four nights and, fortunately, we’d done our research beforehand, unlike some reviewers. If you’re staying here, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car, but that’s the best way to explore the island anyway.
We were hardly in the apartment as we spent most of our time out exploring, and we didn’t use the pool. All we wanted was a comfortable bed and an affordable base, and that’s exactly what we got.
Yes, the apartment is very basic, and there were a few minor issues. Our kitchen light didn’t work, we had a few ants in the room, and some fixtures and fittings could do with being replaced. However, we knew exactly what we were booking, and for the price we paid, we really couldn’t complain.
The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the balcony was a great size, and we had a lovely view. We normally stay in 4 or 5-star hotels, so we were a little apprehensive about booking such a last-minute budget break, but we genuinely had a lovely stay.
We’d happily return. As long as you arrive with realistic expectations, Lygies offers great value for money.

Don't stay there

Very basic no fan and a 10 euro charge per night for aircon .they have a bar area that isn't open.
store room full of toasters but none in the room . Tiny 16inch TV no English channels
Very steep hill location closest supermarket 1km at the bottom of the hill 10euro taxi back up the hill.

Don't stay if you don't have a car

Please read and believe the reviews. Rooms are clean. But that's it. Pool small.
No bar doesn't open ever.
No bar AQ
No play area old and never used
Market 40 minute walk all up hill.
A must get a car miles from a where.
If anyone stays with children forget any peace and quiet.
