One of the best view resort

Well maintained and clean rooms. The view from the balcony is mind blowing.. watching sunset from balcony is mesmerizing. Food is delicious and staffs are well trained and cooperative. Good wifi signals , breakfast served on rooftop restaurant

Worst property

Horrible property. There was just one man. Receiptionist, cum bell boy, cum manager. There was no cook. The so called multi task man assured to get dinner from outside as per order. Then we went inside the room. Very dirty, horrible view, dirty bed sheets. We immediately moved out of the property. They did not refund our money too. Never go for it

great place to stay with huge rooms

This place is away from Munnar town but stay is great, the rooms are spacious, staff is nice we stayed for two nights , even tough kitchen was not functional due to corona, staff was nice enough to provide morning coffee.

Super deluxe room

I visited Munnar on 18.01.2020 for the 1st time with my parents and stayed in shamrock ( near pothamedu view point) for 2 nights. We stayed in super deluxe room. And yes we were not disappointed.
It takes 10 mins time to reach to the hotel from the main road. The road is little bit tough..but not very bad.and car can take you upto the hotel premises.
After you reach the rooms the views are absolutely worth the little journey.. It provides excellent view of the clouds and mountain. We also watched sunset sitting at our balcony.
Hotel staffs are very polite and helpful and not at all overpriced. Rooms and bathrooms are absolutely neat and clean.
They don't have restaurant but they provide food at a very reasonable price.
Only negative side if I can point out that you will need a auto or some mode of transport from the centre to reach the hotel ( about 10 mins) We had our cab so didn't have to deal with that. The main part of the Munnar market area has a lot of hotels but you won't have the heavenly view that Shamrock provides.
Overall Munnar was anyways very very beautiful and it was made even more memorable by Shamrock.
Yes I will totally recommend this place to others with family or friends and if I come back to Munnar I will look forward for another stay at Shamrock.
