The perfect place to stay in Como

Just returned from an excellent stay at Albergo Firenze. Our room with air con and a view of Volta Square was very clean and quiet. The breakfast room was very good and there was plenty of choice for food and drink. The hotel was in an excellent location to explore the City of Como with its sights and shops plus plenty of places to eat and drink. To go further away the bus station is just along the road with buses to Bellagio and other towns on the Lake Como. The Ferry boat terminal is just a few hundred meters away for a lake day trip and the two Railway stations are very close if you fancy a day in Milan or a trip to Lugano in Switzerland. The Albergo Firenze is the perfect base for a stay in Como. All the staff were polite and helpful which made our stay even better. The Price , Location , Rooms and Staff made this a great holiday. Thanks to all the staff.

Our stay was incredible! The location was perfect, the staff was kind and helpful, the room was cleaned each day, and the building was well kept. We would stay again!

A good 3* hotel right in the centre of Como. Clean rooms and nice staff
Negative
Breakfast basic,
Noise (as your in centre) is loud up to around midnight
Overall a good one night stay

Would recommend

We stayed here because we was attending a wedding and the location is perfect, loved walking out of there in the morning with all the restaurants in front of us and being so close to the lake.
It is no frills but found all staff helpful, our room was in the loft with only a ceiling window but it was spacious, lots of storage,very clean, nice bathroom and nice and quiet.
We choose not to eat here because of the local restaurants providing lots of choices.
We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel but would return and recommend.
