Nice but small room

We stayed here in September 2024. Just realised a bunch of my hotel reviews didn’t upload for what ever reason. Beautiful Hotel, nice vibe. Friendly check in. The room is small. Hard to have 2 suitcases opened at the same time. Ice machines on levels 4,6,8. In the ice room there are paid drinks vending machine. Talk about convenience!
Breakfast not great, mediocre selection. The hot food was not hot enough. Banana was the only fresh fruit, others were canned fruits. Expected a better breakfast selection from a hotel like this. They have a carpark onsite. Nice onsen though, especially the outdoor area. Full view of Fuji.
GOTEMBA outlet is linked. Outlet very small food court/food hall.

Our Second Stay — Still Impressed, Especially with the Mt. Fuji View

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as pleasant as the first.
Check-in and check-out were both quick and seamless. The room itself was on the smaller side, but very well designed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making the space feel organized and functional. The amenities were complete and practical.
One of the biggest highlights is that this is one of the few hotels where you can enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji right from your bed. Waking up to that view is truly special.
The onsen also overlooks Mt. Fuji, which makes the experience even more memorable. It was absolutely wonderful soaking in the hot spring after a long day of shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets — especially since there is direct access from the hotel to the outlet area, making it extremely convenient.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and everything tasted very good.
We would definitely return again for the comfort, convenience, and unforgettable Fuji views.

Go for the view.

The one thing that truly sets this hotel apart is the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. It is absolutely spectacular and, by itself, makes the stay worthwhile. The rooms are comfortable and perfectly suited for relaxing with a cup of coffee while taking in the scenery.
The main drawback was the lack of vegetarian dining options. After a long and tiring day of shopping at Gotemba, we were surprised to find that there was nothing suitable available for dinner at the hotel. At around 8:00 PM, we had to book an Uber and head into town to find food, which was quite inconvenient.
That said, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and courteous throughout our stay. If you're visiting primarily for the Mount Fuji views, this hotel delivers an unforgettable experience.

Glad to have been in CLAD

I have stayed there for 3 times on packaged tour since June 2024 in 3 different room types. The spacious rooms for me were comfy and with an unblocked view of Fujisan. The breakfasts were not bad but the last time I was upset as the limited sushi choices had been lifted. The view of Fujisan there from the breakfast eatery was limited as trees were in between outside the glass windows. Yet the seating area across the concierge lobby was a perfect spot for taking a good personal photo featuring a full view of Fujisan if you did that not that late in a sunny morning and there were not many guests behind you. Often a good mobile phone shot worked much better than a typical good digital camera given the spacious area and the huge one piece glass window behind you. The outlets down the slope were also appealing if you fancied buying certain
off-season, luxurious branded items.
