we had good time

We made the reservation at the last minute and there wasn't much choice left and it is a great decision we made for split. the hotel is small and no parking on site. We parked in a garage as instructed and the hotel picked us up from the parking garage. The staff drove us to hotel and sent us to garage on the day we checked out is very nice and professional. The hotel is on one of the best locations. The hotel staffs are very helpful. they asked our itinerary and helped us to figure out detail things prepare for our activities, recommended very good restaurant.

A gem of a hotel in Split - Hotel Cardo

A huge thanks to Ivan & Edita for looking after us during our stay at Hotel Cardo.
Every one of our requests were dealt with impeccably. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The property has a fantastic location within the Diocletian Palace. The interior decor has understated elegance with a nod to its surrounding history.
Our room had everything you could wish for in terms of guest comfort and was perfectly appointed for us as a family of 3.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split, as it is a great example of charming Croatia

Heritage Hotel Cardo, Ivan and the rest of the wonderful staff saved the Split portion of our trip!!

What an absolutely beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Most importantly they saved our Split trip!!
We were supposed to stay somewhere else (a bed & breakfast with no breakfast??) that turned out to be a room, no porter or hotel service and on the 3rd floor with very narrow steps. Not so great on a month long European trip with huge heavy luggage when you’re seniors.
We found Heritage Hotel Cardo and Ivan at the reception desk immediately helped us out! Had a first floor room, took care of our luggage and offered suggestions on anything we were interested in doing. Our stay included a three course breakfast in a restaurant. The location was steps away from the main square. The entire staff was excellent and helpful. What a save for our Split trip!!!

We had an amazing experience in this hotel essentially built into the walls of the palace. The staff were immensely helpful and the 3 course breakfast was amazing. I would rate this hotel as 6* out of 5!

An Unforgettable Stay in Old Town Split

This charming boutique hotel sits right in the absolute heart of Old Town Split. Our family loved the bi-level duplex room; the two queen beds were incredibly comfortable, and the split layout gave us the perfect mix of space and historic character. Since cars cannot enter the old town pedestrian zone, the staff was incredibly helpful—they met us to assist with our bags to and from the car, and they took complete care of getting our vehicle parked in their garage overnight. To top it off, the breakfast at their partner restaurant was absolutely lovely. A flawless stay!
