Beautiful Boutique Hotel
We selected Dar Camelia for the charm and was so pleased with our stay! The hotel and room 1 is just as beautiful as shown in pictures and described. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The AC worked well and we did not experience any interruptions in electricity. Everyone working there was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety and served in a beautiful courtyard. Note, that it's located in the old area of Sour/Tyre with narrow streets. A car can pick up/drop off at the end of the street. I believe all of the guest rooms are up one flight of stairs.

Relaxing stay
My friend and I had a lovely one night stay at Dar Camelia.
We missed our way initially and found ourselves at Dar Alma.
Jack came to get us and took us to the hotel and showed us where to park our car (It was very nice of him).
We stayed in Room 3. It was spacious, had a balcony from where we could see the sea.
The bathroom had bathrobes, towels and slippers.
We got a voucher from the hotel for 2 free glasses of wine and 10% discount on food drom Dar Alicia (a restaurant in the same building); the food was delicious.
Breakfast was at the courtyard in the hotel and it was delicious.
The hotel is close to the sea side and it has several shops and restaurants within walking distance. We did a walk from the hotel to the sea side.
By the hotel is a lovely antique shop owned by Josef (very nice guy). We got some souvenirs from him at good prices.
If you plan to visit Tyre book a stay here.

Amazing hidden boutique hotel in Tyre
If you are looking for a cute and charming boutique hotel in the olf center of Tyre, this is the place to be. The hotel is right next to the port, the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is extremely nice

Just Perfect
Its a cozy boutique hotel, with impeccable service. The staff are welcoming and accommodating should there be any additional request.
The old town, the ruins and the old port are all within walking distance.
The view may not be extraordinary, as it lies within the old town, but there is a nice terrace which compensates for that.

Quiet, gorgeous and well decorated
This boutique hotel is absolutely stunning. The decor is superbly executed, it’s clean and extremely quiet. We planned on staying one night and decided to extend. The staff is friendly and there are gorgeous outdoor spaces, including the courtyard for breakfast. It’s a little pricier than some other places but you’ll find its charm makes up for it.
Tips: while some rooms appear to only have bathtubs in their bathrooms from the online photos and descriptions, we received a tour of each room and can confirm that the tubs also have shower curtains. Room no 5 is not as spacious as it seems in the photos so if you need a second bed choose room no 6 or 8 instead. Room no 4 has a HUGE and beautiful bathroom.
