Aguascalientes American Festival - A Disappointing Experience
Since my recent stay at the Fiesta Americana Aguascalientes Hotel, I am obliged to express my deep disappointment with the quality of the facilities and service, especially considering the prestige of the brand and the rates applied.
My experience suggests that this property does not meet the standards of a 4-star or higher hotel, and that the value for money is extremely unfavorable.
Condition and Maintenance of Facilities
The assigned room evidenced an obvious state of deterioration and lack of renovation. The most notable problems were:
Extreme Antiquity: Facilities are remarkably obsolete, contributing to an overall low-level experience.
Poor Hygiene and Aesthetics: The carpet had an unpleasant and unhygienic appearance.
Visible Structural Defects: The walls were filled with superficial and unsightly repairs, including filled holes suggesting poor maintenance (possibly remains of pictures or removed items).
Bathroom in Disrepair: The bathtub showed signs of corrosion and advanced deterioration, compromising hygiene and the overall appearance of the space.
(Note: Photographs will be attached to specifically document the condition of the bathtub and walls).
Inconsistency in Rate and Value
The rate charged for the stay, particularly in the context of an event, is in the range of a high-end hotel. However, the quality of the service and the conditions of the room do not justify the cost at all, resulting in a clear sense of having been ripped off by paying premium prices for substandard facilities.
️ Failures in Service and Critical Communication
The service experience was equally unsatisfactory and, at a crucial moment, revealed serious operational failures:
Water Supply Interruption: During the use of the bathroom, the water supply was completely interrupted. We had to wait approximately five minutes for the service to be "magically" restored, which is unacceptable at a hotel in this category.
Communication Equipment Failure: When attempting to report a lack of water via telephone from the room, the cordless phone was inoperable (apparently due to battery damage or failure). This prevented immediate communication with the front desk in an emergency situation, exposing a negligence in reviewing basic guest service tools.
Conclusion
The combination of these problems (vety and unhygienic installations, failures in essential service and a broken communication system) represents a terrible experience and a clear failure to meet the expectations generated by the name Fiesta Americana. The subsequent handling of my report and the response obtained were equally deficient.
Recommendation: It is imperative that management initiate an urgent and thorough renovation of the rooms or adjust their rates to honestly reflect the actual quality of the facilities it currently offers.

Lamento mucho saber que no cumplimos con sus expectativas de servicio e instalaciones, le aseguro que tomaremos las acciones de mejora a nuestro alcance y haremos llegar su opinión a propietarios a fin de que se considere inversión para futuras remodelaciones.
Entiendo su molestia por las tarifas durante el Torneo de la Amistad, es un tema que se revisa en diferentes áreas pero no pasa por decisión local de una servidora, con gusto escalaremos su comentario a fin de que se considere.
Como le mencionamos previamente, desafortunadamente al estar con 100% de ocupación no fue posible realizar un cambio de habitación, aunque la decoración e instalaciones son las mismas.
El tema del agua se debe a cambios que se están haciendo en casa de máquinas (en proceso de eliminación de calderas), se están instalando nuevos calentadores, esto es algo que finalizará a principios del próximo mes.
Aunque nuestras instalaciones son antigüas (decoración clásica), le puedo asegurar que se cumplen los procesos de higiene, de manera recurrente tenemos revisiones del área de salud de municipio y previo al TDLA no fué la excepción.
Me reitero a sus órdenes en esta su casa.

First time visiting hotel. Very outdated, breakfast in restaurant was cold, staff was not knowledgeable about food temperature or sanitation codes.

room was clean, close walk to center of city, but the smell was awful-drainage probably. overall I would stay here again

The quality was good but the beds were tightly tucked in overall the experience was very nice.
