A cockroach on my pillow

I have stayed at that hotel for years, but the service and the facilities are declining more every day. The cleanliness in general is bad. It gives the impression that the staff is doing you a favor; during my current stay on 08/13/2026, I reported problems with the room's cleanliness because there are cockroaches, but they ignored it; we returned today 7 hrs after leaving the room and they didn't clean, in addition to there being a cockroach on the bed. They changed our room, but we won't be able to sleep peacefully anymore. Avoid staying there.

Disappointed.
They charged us almost one full night for checking in 2h before (they told us the rooms were not ready one moment and then the next they say we can pay extra to get the rooms).
Rooms are not clean and cleaning doesnt come everyday even though we explicitly put the PLEASE CLEAN paper on the door.
There is no fridge in the room so water gets warm easily.
Location is in the center, although not a modern area.
Wouldnt come back

The location of this hotel is great. Easy walking distance to Barrio Antiguo, Macroplaza, Morelos St, Metro stations, etc. The hotel is clean and reasonably remodeled. Staff were friendly and accommodated me for an ultra late check-in when I arrived. I would stay here again while in Monterrey
