Lousy hote

My experience at the hotel was very disappointing. The people attending reception were rude and inattentive, responding badly and unwilling to help. Also, the hot water was not working properly. The worst part was when we talked to the manager, who instead of offering us solutions, told us that there were more hotels, which I found to be a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. I will not recommend this hotel again.

Not great

Stayed here for one night with kids before moving to a different hotel. Rooms are large and the bed was clean, other than that not much. Everything is old and worn down. Floor was very dirty in the room, my feet were black. Open trash bags in the lobby. Staff was not very friendly. Wouldn’t come back here again. But if you need something cheap for one night it’s ok.

Disappointed

Pros: The staff is nice. The place is clean. The rooms are large. Within ten minutes of the central plaza and downtown area. Cons: The price is double what we paid last year for the same room, and, at the time, breakfast was included. This year, we had to pay for breakfast. Twice the price for fewer services. Apparently, there has been a change in management. The wifi is non-existent which was the biggest issue for us. There are other hotels which are considerably cheaper - maybe not as fancy, but at least the wifi is guaranteed which makes it easier to stay in touch with family back home. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

ok for travelers with very basic needs

Pros: staff is very nice. place is clean. plenty of hot water in shower.
Cons: very very basic room: there is not a chair, not a desk, not an extra pillow/blanket or hand towels (you can ask though). it was christmas time and very busy, wifi was non-existent. it is next to a club, you could hear music until 3am. not too loud, so we could sleep, but definitely annoying. location is good because 2 blocks sough of the zocalo, but (again, it was christmas time) it was incredibly crowded in the street because of vendors. also, the part of the city south of the zocalo is not very attractive. I would not recommend it if you have any difficulty in walking whatsoever and if crowd and loud noises bother you. I think it would be ok for young travelers who only need a place to sleep. breakfast is non-existent so I would not buy.

Do not book. Noisy

3 stars but subtract 1 star for bad breakfast and 100 stars for noise. There is a night club nearby with music so loud that went till 3am. 1 star is as low as can go.
Do not book this hotel. You will regret it.
