Magic with a phenomenal glimpse.

It was a great pleasure to sunrise in the morning. And with the view, you can settle to a relaxing and pleasant day. Claudia was very attentive to my questions. I know I'll be back to stay here on my next visit.

Couldn't get Shambhala to respond regarding issuing a refund of fully-paid reservation.

We had a fully-paid reservation which we cancelled months prior to the date. . .and therefore a full refund was due us. After two emails regarding the cancellation and refund, Shambhala stopped communicating. . .issuing no refund. I had to open a dispute with my credit card company involved in order to received the refund of the deposit.

Like Being Part of the Family!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The view of the playa is amazing, the beach area is perfect for body surfing without worrying too much about the nasty currents, and the staff and owners are… incredible! We felt like we had been welcomed into the family. Claudia and her family made us feel at home and welcomed.
It is a bit "rustic" and may not have the amenities that other nearby lodging has, but for serenity, ease of access to everything that Zipolite has to offer, and amazing view and services, it can't be beat!
We will definitely stay there again when we return to this wonderful pueblo.

Very basic accommodation but beautiful setting perched on the cliffs. A bit of a climb from the beach to my room, so good for the cardio!
The room has no a/c or tv, but wifi is ok depending on your location. Fans were provided, and mosquito nets for the beds.
Restaurants about a 10 minute walk away… very reasonable price for awesome food.
Breakfast and coffee are available at the property, served by friendly staff.
I would stay again, provided the fans are available!!
Biggest complaint is that it’s difficult to find with ease, as hotels tend to be on sand/dirt tracks, and fortunately, I was able to inquire of a local” donde es Shambala?”, and was pointed the way up a winding track…there was enough room to park.
Very basic, but beautiful too, for those who don’t require the creature comforts of a modern hotel chain
