Best food we had in Namibia

Two more visits this month. Excellent again. The food is just beautiful. Best we had in three weeks around Namibia. We were given coffee and really nice home baked cake on arrival.

pleasant interim stay close to Windhoek airport on our round trip thru Nambia

after a 10 hour flight Etango Ranch picked us up from the airport. Afterwards it was very pleasant to have a short interim stay at he Etango Ranch guest farm close to the airport, where we had a neat day room with bathroom and tasty breakfast. we were allowed to make use of the pool and the relaxing area. They also offered us tea/coffee and an excellent cake.
After 5 hours rest we continued our round trip.

Excellent value for money; perfect for a night before or after a flight because close to the airport

A really nice way to start and end a trip in Namibia. Especially good if you like beautiful gardens and interesting birds - it was full of rosy-faced lovebirds (a parrot), woodpeckers, loeries, babblers and more.
Everything about Etango is excellent. Airport pick up was organised in advance. The rooms are great, with air con and nice facilities. The pool is well looked after. The food was wonderful - four courses, each delicious and high quality. When arriving back from my motorcycle ride around Namibia, I was too late for lunch, but one of the ladies made a lovely greek salad for me. And then I was driven to the airport at 6.30 in the morning. That was before breakfast started, so they gave me a packed breakfast.
If you have time, it is definitely worth staying for more than a day at the start of a Namibia tour, as it is a great place to acclimatise and relax.
