Beautifully located hotel

Beautifully located hotel, right in the middle of the woods. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with birds singing everywhere. We really enjoyed taking a little walk around the grounds and simply enjoying the calm atmosphere.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and had beautiful views over the gardens. However, the room was not in the main building and was quite difficult to find. Unfortunately, the directions we were given were confusing, and we spent more than 20 minutes trying to locate it before having to return to reception and ask someone to show us the way.
We didn't get the chance to try dinner because the restaurant stopped serving quite early, around 8pm. We had other plans and expected to be able to have dinner at around 9pm, so it would have been useful to know about the early closing time in advance. The dinner also seemed quite expensive.
We found breakfast quite basic and not very tasty.
Despite these minor issues, this is definitely a place I would recommend for a peaceful and relaxing weekend surrounded by nature.

Overnight stay

Beautifully located hotel, in the middle of the woods
Nice spacious room with beautiful views of the gardens .Disadvantage was the shower room which came directly into the room via a step with glass doors.
Also be careful that the water from the shower room did not run into the bedroom.
Everything new and nicely arranged.
Beautiful terrace with very friendly service and a good menu.
Definitely recommended for a nice and relaxed weekend

2 nights in the Veluwe

Perfect location, great food both in brasserie and restaurant, nice and very attentive staff. Good beds and modern bathroom with nice rain shower. Nevertheless, I would like to report some areas for improvement: replace the old curtains in room 3 (there are holes in ). The room was not 100% clean, point of attention for the housekeeping. Supplement used coffee or tea in the room so you have the same choice the next day. We have unfortunately not found a decent parking and charging point for our 2 cubit bikes. The room door (3) opens way too heavily..... this is not doable. Nevertheless, we recommend this hotel, we enjoyed it.

Great stay and a wonderful experience!

We greatly enjoyed our stay, from start to finish everything felt personal and genuinely welcoming! The whole team did everything to make us feel welcome, which immediately created a warm and relaxed atmosphere!
At breakfast Barbera really took the time for everyone, which gave a nice and quiet start to the day. Zoe and her colleague at check-in also immediately provided a warm welcome.
The food was really fantastic. We opted for the six-course menu, which is definitely recommended, especially in combination with the perfectly matched wines. Each course was an experience in itself.
In addition, we also slept wonderfully, which made the stay complete.
In short: a place where hospitality, quality and attention to detail come together. We love to come back here again!

Good.

Nice location. Free parking. Friendly staff, friendly staff. I got a room in the main house. Nice room which is also a bathroom. Food was very good. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was also very good. Many variations
