Nice location, good dinner

We made use of dinner here after the visit to the beach. Attractive decor, friendly service and delicious / well-kept dishes that are affordable. Highly recommended.

No 4* or worthy of the name boutique/culinary.

The hotel has a beautiful location. Building and terrace look a bit shabby. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Clothing grubby to all staff and inferior quality.
Very small room of door open you immediately fell on the very narrow bed 140-150 wide. No space briefcase. Bathroom very small no room for toiletry bag. Toilet flushed badly. Room clearly in need of renovation. Recovery that was done was very poor and visibly executed. Complained because the main prize (500 euros for 2 nights) paid. And next day got another big room. Clearly better and finer and slept well. But also poorly maintained here.
Dinner should be culinary. An average diner scores better. Breakfast also moderate. Only the baked goods were fresh. The rest by lying dehydrated. Waffles baked hard. Pancakes dehydrated. Egg emerges wrs from bottle a massive yellow mass chopped into cubes like scrambled eggs. From 10 pm everything is closed and staff home. Nothing more to get/drink. There's a first aid kit on the counter.
For a 4-star boutique hotel we really expected more.

Nice location in the dunes, but value for money out of balance

Hotel Fletcher Boutique Duinoord Wassenaar enjoys a beautiful location, directly in the dunes. For walks to the beach or a breath of fresh air, it is really an ideal base. The area is quiet and atmospheric, which is absolutely a plus.
Yet the room rate is disproportionate to the facilities and the overall appearance of the hotel. We paid €248,- for one night with two adults, but the hotel looks dated and a lot of woodwork clearly needs maintenance. The room itself was neat, but could use a lick of paint. In addition, there were only two towels ready, which still feels a bit minimal for this price range.
Breakfast was also disappointing. Products were insufficiently replenished and tables were not cleared in time. Because of this we had to clean up the garbage of other guests before we could sit anywhere. This may have to do with a shortage of staff, but at a price level of €248,- per night you simply expect a better cared for experience.
In short: nice location and fine for a short night by the sea, but we unfortunately do not find the value for money.

No more 2nd time

At check-in no one was present, boy from the waitstaff had to check us in. Then drink on the terrace, before that were also 2 guys present, so many complaining people at the bar where the order remained. The building is dated and what was very tricky with 2 people having difficulty walking, there was no elevator in the hotel and the room was on the 2nd floor. Food was moderate, fish and pork tenderloin very dry. The location is beautiful, but everything is said with that!
