Great Hostel in Iquitos
This hostel was the perfect place for myself and 4 friends, the host Luis was exceptionally helpful! He helped us book our jungle excursions and was able to recommend one of the best tour guides we could have asked for! He also made sure we had a room ready for our return from the jungle so we were able to shower and change before our flight back to Lima. Thank you again Luis for this great experience in iquitos

Terrible treatment and irresponsibility
Starting with the rude treatment from the owner-manager who hides behind the very general information on the internet regarding the conditions of the rooms despite having had direct communication with him. He lied by claiming that he informed me about the type of room he was giving me in direct conversation with him, and as he could not maintain this version, he shielded himself in the generalized information on the internet, forcibly assuming that the main responsibility is mine and that of the internet. In cleanliness, also terrible. For the first time in my life, I find out that they clean the room every other day; never in any tourist place can a hotel have the irresponsibility and lack of respect for the customer with such negligence. The service for the use of the refrigerator for guests is terrible; it has smells of spoiled food, and they do not take the effort to check if the food is rotting, endangering the health of the guests. Also regarding the size of the refrigerator, it is very small, suitable only for the domestic use of a family of 4 members, incredible!! Considering that this accommodation is no longer a single floor but two, there is therefore much more demand, and the food of the guests is piled one on top of the other, altering and ruining what cost the guest. Treatment from the staff is terrible, rude, and ill-mannered. It is not recommended at all, do not go!!!

deserving of attention
Nicely maintained with green tropical gardens on all floors, amenable and accommodating host, comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, strong fan, walking distance to Malecon, good value for long or short stay, park across the road and breakfast three doors away

The owner attends lousy
I agreed to be picked up at the airport, the taxi did not arrive; then Luis who presents himself as the owner, tried to charge part of that service. He was rude to my tour guide. He tries to sell you his tours and it's too obvious. He was poorly educated with a motorcycle taxi, for not using his contacts. Luis a totally rude guy. It was the only nasty thing about Iquitos. The rest is great. The location of the accommodation is not ideal, I recommend close to Plaza de Armas in the city.

Estimado Sr. Claudio Pinto, muchas gracias por su estadia y extender su reserva. En referencia a su comentario, debemos aclarar que nuestro hospedaje no cuenta con taxistas ni empresas de tours propios. Hemos revisado su caso y hemos visto que Ud. requirio la programacion de un taxi para su recojo en el aeropuerto. Debido a que su avion se retraso una hora y media, el taxista regreso nuevamente al aeropuerto a buscarlo, sin embargo Ud. hizo caso omiso al letrero con su nombre y tomo el mototaxi de la empresa de tour que Ud. contrato, dejando plantado al taxista programado. Al llegar Ud. al hospedaje, le comente sobre la queja del taxista local y que el hospedaje tuvo que pagar el combustible del taxista que Ud. planto, pero Ud. no asumio ninguna responsabilidad.
El hospedaje queda ubicado frente a uno de los mejores parques de la ciudad, Sargento Lores, y es mucho mas tranquilo que los hoteles que estan en la plaza de armas.

Excellent
I stayed at Neydita multiple times during my time in Iquitos. The rooms are clean, welcoming and airy. The climate in the common area is magical: the situation is ideal both for relaxing and for making good friends and spending time in company. The staff is exceptionally kind: they are all available and highly trained, ready to give you the best advice both for life in the city and for any excursions in the Amazon. Highly recommended
