I loved the Terrace and its delicious food

I loved the hostel, a good place to disconnect from the routine, the best thing about the hotel was its restaurant on the terrace where I tried the best Italian pasta, and its delicious breakfasts prepared by the Neapolitan chefs, Davide and Francisco :)
Excellent service, very welcoming!!!
Highly recommended!!!

Quiet hostel a short walk from town

First time in a hostel and it was good. Had a 2 bed room with my son and private shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Murals are beautiful and the roof is great for relaxing as none of the noise of motor cycles you get in town. Really nice place to spend a few days

Great Hostel

My cousin and I stayed here 6 nights and it was very comfortable and homey. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The entire hostel is very clean!! The rooftop mural is magical, absolutely beautiful!! Lovely place to meditate, workout, chill out on the hammocks, etc. Coco the parrot is so cute and awesome to spy on when he’s singing in the rain. The family does a great job running this place. It’s a bit out of town but a short mototaxi ride away.

Beautiful hostel on a quiet street

I was pleasantly surprised with this hostel, located on a quiet street not far from the downtown El Mural is a relatively new property that is undergoing transformation every day with new artwork being added by guests. The owners are very friendly and attentive to the needs of customers, the rooms are spacious and clean (this is the best value private ensuite I've ever had) and it has kitchen and hand-wash laundry facilities. Great spot to spend the night or a few days, it's also very close to the chocolate factory.

Living in relative luxury at El Mural Hostel in Tarapoto

Hot water showers, good wifi in the rooms, nearly new facilities (opened new in June 2016). They are still adding art and artifacts on the walls, but what they have done thus far is first class. The kitchen facility is very nice, the breakfast was good the first morning, and Nelson (manager) asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day. He made fresh juice for me, then refilled my glass. I made a tour up to Laguna Azul with his help. I couldn't ask for more than this. It is a ways from town center, but Tarapoto sprawls so you need to take moto-taxis anyway. Great view of sunsets from the fourth floor!
