wedding venue

I had my wedding there in October of 2022. I can say enough about this place. They made everything special and went out of their way to make sure we had a grand time. Even spend the night there and the rooms were large and very clean. I recommend this resort

Awesome!

It is a nice resort to stay for couple of days.
I’ve done my scuba diving Padi open water there, and the instructor was terrific! Mr Lloyd is super good guy who gives the best of himself to his students.
The staff is so friendly. The only bad thing is that if you don’t have a car or a motorbike, it is so difficult to move around. The public transportation is not good.
Aside that, all great.

A big mistake

First of all, I would like to clarify that this is a European-perspective review, which is particularly relevant since this resort is extremely tailored to Chinese customers. The only good thing about this place is the service. The food in the restaurant was purely dissappointing and we tried to avoid eating there and so did the other customers as we heard and as a result the place was mostly empty and most of the items on the menu were not available when we did have to grab a bite here. The rooms are okay, spacious but not well cleaned and towels were dirty when we first arrived. However, the most concerning part of our stay here was the dive we did. I am a recent Padi Open Water certified diver with rather little experience and I was accompanied by two friends who are both very experienced. The diving guide didn't plan the dive well and started out against the current. I am aware that I am usually the weak link regarding air consumption and in these conditions I realized quickly that I won't be able to last very long at all. So did my friends, luckily. The guide was still preoccupied with exploring wildlife when we insisted on going back to the boat as I had reached below 70 bar. The guide wanted to swim further out and did not realise the situation although he was aware of my air consumption. We then turned around against the guides wish and my friend then shared his air for a couple of minutes, which is the only reason why I didn't come up with zero bar but roughly 30. I don't know what would have happened if we had followed the guide through his plan and didn't turn around early on our own request and I don't want to think about what could have happened if I wasn't accompanied by so experienced divers. We have been diving a lot in different resorts and never have I felt unsafe like I have here with the 71% diving resort. I would recommend anyone to stay clear of this place, particularly the diving but altogether it has been a big mistake for us to stay here.

Great!

The resort is great! Nice and modern (european standards= big rooms, very clean, swimming pool with a nice sea view. The staff is very friendly and helped in everything they could.The resort is a 15min drive from Dumaguete city and 10 min from a big modern mall. It is possible to order food in the resort as well. We loved our stay there and we recommend it!! Thank you to the staff that did that our stay was great and lovely!
