Great BB in Augustow

Very cozy BB in excellent location in the beautiful town of Augustow!
Clean room and bathroom, old time feeling house, hall and stairway decorated with lots of old photos, paintings and mirrors. This house got character.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast.
Only thing you can do is to give 10/10!
This time we had time only for a one night stay on our way to Italy but we hope to stay longer some time in the future!

Simple

B&B is in really good location, with private parking and serves good breakfast (breakfast is brought to the room in agreed time). Rooms are simple and "ascetic", but clean and seems to be well maintained. For 1 night stay it was more, than enough, but it could be a problem for longer stays.

An awkward experience

Stary Dom proved to be more of a camping site than a B&B.
The check-in was awkward; upstairs the steep stairs. The garden room had clearly been flooded; the carpet was soaked...The beds were so-so...
No one ever asked about breakfast, but it arrived within minutes of a call. And: cash payment in euros was accepted...
It certainly was comfier than a tent... but...

Very pleasant stay. Great location. Private parking. Fine service. Worth it.

Nice and cozy place with private parking. Very convenient location. Calm area. Walkable distance to the center. (By the way, the canal is really great for a walk.) The facilities are well kept. It has a stable WiFi and a very helpful staff. The rooms are bright, spotless and spacious with all needed things. We had a good night's sleep. Nothing disturbed us. It has a space with free coffee, tea, kitchenware and more.
We had good breakfast served directly to our room. We really enjoyed our stay. Overall, very nice and tidy B&B. Good value for the money. It has very good service. Great for a quiet stay. Recommended.

Worth to stay, definitely!

Augustow Stary Dom's garden hotel represents the best backpacker romance place to stay for. We spent in a spacious room for just one night, but Stary Dom stayed in minds during three-week tour of Eastern Europe as the most cozy guest house, wherein it is good to wake up. A good breakfast was served directly to our room at the agreed time. By furnishings it is not searched some style-piety, but at a reasonable price suitable practicality. The spirit of the old wooden house is living - decor is a lot, but it is not snobbish or modern. On walls it hangs stopping arts, large collection of mirrors and photographs, what makes the stairway and room host himself looking.
