Pleasant stay

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is close to the city center. The room is big enough, well equipped , with interesting architecture. Multiple choices for breakfast and tasty food a la carte.

I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

Horrible place. Outdated, so out of date. The hotel really needs to be redesigned and renovated!!! 1. A receptionist who can't read a map provided by the hotel? Who doesn't know where the hotel is located? I was amazed. This was a first. 2. No air conditioning on the 3rd floor. The room felt suffocating, like a cage. 3. The toilet was so high up - horrible, 4th, the elevator - so slow, oh my god, so slow. 5. The hotel garage was so dangerous to get in/out of, I've never been in such a tight location. 6. I was told to be there at 6:00 PM for a massage. The masseur didn't even show up, so at 6:30 PM I was asked if I wanted someone else to massage me? Seriously??? Didn't you think about having her come in place of the first person who couldn't? 7. The mattress was completely worn out. Honestly one of the worst reviews I've ever given, but NO - 4 stars for this place, sorry. There is no way this hotel got 4 stars..

Not quite as expected

Knowing this is a 4 star hotel, I had some expectations.
Pros.
- Nice and attentive staff;
- Nice location, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to city center;
- Free parking, but very challenging to navigate their parking lot;
- Very large rooms;
- There is a pool;
- Breakfast ok.
Cons.
- Rooms are outdated, old furniture, old TV sets, almost impossible to watch something in proper conditions. A refurbishment is much needed;
- The pool is full day long because they are offering subscriptions and swimming lessons;
I would rate my experience with 3.5, something between average and good. I finally choose 4 instead of 3 only due to their staff.

Excellent for dinner and rest.

Rest stop from Italy towards Cluj, excellent hotel, clean, organised, very friendly and helpful staff, location in the city centre, comfortable, spacious room with a view of the swimming pool. Very popular restaurant with good choices and excellent products. Abundant breakfast. Parking is a little tight but it's there.

A good hotel in an unexpectedly interesting town.

The hotel is on a quiet street not far from the elegant Art Nouveau centre of town.We had a large “ superior” room with balcony at the front.It was cool and comfortable and large with plenty of storage and good lighting.
I was disappointed to find no bath- the fire escape plan showed that the architect had intended one.
Food and service were very good in the evening.An excellent breakfast was let down by inferior dilute fruit juice from a machine.The rear garden terrace was attractive ,and the staff were considerate enough to serve dinner outside to a family with a noisy infant.
I did not travel by car, but I noted that the underground garage looked very tight.
