A great place to discover The Ribeira Sacra

Casa do Portomene is a fabulous huge place for up to 20 people. U can rent it complete (as we did) or by rooms. All rooms were spacious and on-suite.
It has several common places with an open fire, big dinning room and play room. Best was the library where one can read of work -if must-
Xose Manuel and Berverly were always attentive to our needs and quick to help when needed. A lovely garden with tables to read on the sun was a real plus, also being with kids that could run and play in all safety
It's a very good place to explore Ribeira Sacra, an area worth the visit for its cultural legacy, it's nature and its "heroic" wine. You must see to believe!

Best trip in Ribera Sacra area

My family and I spent 3 days and 2 nights in this beautiful home located in the heart of Ribera Sacra wine country. The house itself is very large and beautiful and tastefully decorated with gorgeous antique furniture. The house is very typical Galician and is made of stone and hard wood throughout. Our hosts Beverly and her husband, Xose Manuel were extremely nice and helpful and just a pleasure to be around. Beverly speaks some English so it was easy to communicate . She helped us plan our time in the area and even arranged for us to take a guided tour at one of the famous wineries in the area. The tour included a wine tasting that was one of the many highlights of our trip. Casa do Portomene is charming and very clean. Well equipped with every modern fixture you would come to expect. I will definitely be visiting this part of Galicia again and above all, this beautiful home. Thank you Beverly and Xose Manuel!

Una experiencia mágica, en la Galicia profunda

Un lugar con un encanto especial, en un entorno natural increíble, y con un trato inmejorable por parte del personal, que te hace sentir como en casa. Cocina tradicional gallega de calidad, con maridaje de vinos de la zona. Perfecto para desconectar, en grupo o en pareja. Totalmente recomendable.

En el corazón de la Ribeira Sacra

Recientemente, me he alojado en una de sus habitaciones. La casa es una construcción tradicional gallega que ha sido restaurada con un gusto excelente. Está enclavada en un entorno natural, rodeada de magníficos castaños. Además, cuenta con una amplia finca rodeada de muro de piedra para el esparcimiento. Pero lo que más me gustó fue el trato personal y atento de sus dueños, siempre cercanos para explicarte cuáles eran los atractivos turísticos del lugar, que son muchos y variados, y cuál era el camino para llegar a ellos. Al final, la Ribeira Sacra y la estancia en Portomeñe dejan un recuerdo inolvidable.

Una casa gallega para tu descanso

Restauración cuidando los detalles para que el cliente se sienta como en su casa. Habitaciones amplias, comodas y luminosas. Las zonas comunes increibles y no digamos la "aira" para que disfrutemos todos del lugar. La cena sencilla pero exquisita con productos ecológicos y frescos. El desayuno abundante en productos y variedad. Nuestros anfitriones amables y respetuosos. Espero volver pronto
