Ping pong table and a pool table available, gym and a small spa with treatments.
Our rooms, premium double, had a small balcony with a bit of sea view. Small room and basic but clean and good standard.
The breakfast was a nice buffet, fresh and enough of all you need.
On the day of departure there is a luggage room and showers for a quick fresh up before leaving.
The staff were all very nice and helpful. Check in and out was quick and easy.
The only challenge could be finding a car parking in the surrounding area. There are plenty of white zones but busy in the high season.
Over all a very positive stay and good value for money. Well recommended.

Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff, but a Very Disappointing Experience
The hotel is located in a bay, but unfortunately, the sea there is not very beautiful. You definitely need a car to get around, but parking can be difficult.
Our room was not ready until after 3:00 p.m. However, the biggest disappointment was that money disappeared from our room! We reported the incident to the hotel manager, but unfortunately, she did not speak English very well, which made communication and resolving the situation even more difficult.

Beautiful Views, But Plenty of Room for Improvement
After this visit, however, we realised just how isolated the hotel really is. The location itself is breathtaking, with beautiful views across the Bay of Pollença, but there are absolutely no shops nearby and only one restaurant within around a 10-minute walk. For anything else, you need to travel into the Old Town of Alcúdia, which is around a 20–25-minute walk or short taxi journey away. A taxi is approximately €9 each way, so it’s not particularly expensive, but it does add up. I think a complimentary or reasonably priced shuttle service to Alcúdia would be a fantastic addition to the hotel and would make a huge difference for guests without a car.
The hotel has recently undergone a renovation and, judging from the photographs, it looks stunning. The public areas are genuinely beautiful and the overall design is very impressive. However, when you look more closely at the rooms, it becomes clear that the renovation appears to have been rushed, with numerous small snagging issues.
In our room, the door frame was hanging off, the plastering was chipped and cracking, the toilet roll holder fell off and the shower fitting was loose. Our next-door neighbours even had their entire door handle come off.
The bedroom doors are also by no means “soft closing”. Every time someone leaves their room, the door slams shut, and this happened continuously throughout our stay. It was particularly disruptive early in the morning and late at night.
These are all relatively minor issues individually, but collectively they take away from what should otherwise feel like a newly renovated hotel.
The restaurant itself has been beautifully renovated and is a lovely space. Unfortunately, the breakfast area is far too small for the number of guests. There doesn’t seem to be any natural flow or route around the buffet, meaning people are constantly bumping into one another and moving in every direction.
The food was fairly standard for a three-star hotel. I would suggest adding tomatoes to the breakfast selection and, in particular, keeping hash browns available every day rather than only on certain
Now, the swimming pool needs addressing.
The main pool had a very unpleasant green slime/residue around the edges throughout our entire stay. It was not an isolated occurrence — it was there every day and actually stained our swimwear.
When we raised this with the hotel, we were told that the pool was safe and that the residue was caused by sun lotion. We were also told that the pool was scrubbed every morning at 6am to remove it, but that the residue quickly returned.
However, one morning I got up at 6am to go for a walk and specifically checked the pool. Nobody was cleaning it. I checked again at around 7am and there was still nobody there. This left me feeling that the explanation we had been given by the hotel manager was, unfortunately, not truthful.
We subsequently reported the issue to TUI. Four days later, the hotel manager contacted us and offered three complimentary drinks and a bottle of Prosecco. I thought this was a fair resolution to our complaint, and I appreciated that the hotel did eventually acknowledge the issue.
However, future guests should be aware of the condition of the main pool and take care if they are planning to use it. The adult pool, on the other hand, had none of the same green residue. I was told this is because fewer people use that pool, so if you have access to it, I would definitely recommend using it instead — it is a much nicer experience.
All of the staff we encountered were friendly and polite. However, it was very noticeable that the hotel predominantly caters to German guests, with information and communication generally presented in German first.
I also personally felt that German guests received preferential treatment, with other nationalities sometimes seeming like an afterthought. This is, of course, my personal perception rather than something I can state as fact, but it was noticeable during our stay.
There are definitely positives to this hotel. The views and location are absolutely stunning, and the renovated public areas look fantastic. The setting overlooking the Bay of Pollença is undoubtedly the hotel’s biggest selling point.
However, the combination of the remote location, room snagging issues, noisy doors, cramped breakfast area and, most importantly, the condition of the main swimming pool meant that the hotel didn’t quite live up to our expectations.
Sadly, despite returning for nostalgic reasons and having some wonderful memories of this place from 17 years ago, we wouldn’t return again. Next time, we’ll be looking to stay somewhere else in the area.
Good luck, Hotel More. I genuinely hope you can iron out the snagging issues and address some of the points raised in this review, because there is so much potential here. With a little more attention to detail, this hotel could very easily go from being good to excellent.

Exactly what it said it was and more!
Location:
We found the location perfect and the views spectacular. The beach front is perfect for additional places to sunbathe, walk and swim. As it says in all descriptions you are not near shops, bars or other facilities but all of these can be reached by taxi for less than €9 each journey booked either at reception easily of by downloading the equally easy Mallorcataxi app which picks up your location so you don’t even need to know where you are.
Hotel:
The hotel has had a recent make over and it shows and really ups its appeal. Lovely lobby and bar with full air con, clean poolside terrace with garden furniture, lounge area looking out to see with sofas and egg chairs. Clean, tidy and well maintained inside and out with outdoors showers and toilets so you don’t have to come back through the lobby if you don’t want too when poolside. Staff throughout are courteous, professional, speak superb English and always willing to help. The gym is well maintained and the steam room and sauna look equally good. My only comment on that would be that the sauna and steam are not operational unless you ask which did put us off using as it seemed a bit of a faff to go to reception and ask for them to be set up rather than just drop in and use them. Despite the write up of the hotel saying little or no entertainment we were there for a week and had four different singers so that was lovely all very good but especially a gentleman performing partly as Michael Jackson who was superb. None of the entertainment went on past 10.30 and all was suitable for adults and families alike.
Rooms:
We had two different standards of room ( not intentionally) but both had make overs as part of the refurb it appeared and were clean, tidy, comfy and looked after well during our stay. We had requested two rooms next to each other which didn’t happen so if this is important to you I’d recommend trying to get this confirmed at booking as the hotel is not large so it’s unlikely you would get a room change on the day. It is also worth mentioning that family rooms are not possible due to the size and layout of the hotel and they don’t do rooms with connecting doors. So If like us you have teenagers be prepared to be separated and aware that the hotel would expect an adult in each room. Basic rooms do still all have a fridge, kettle, safe, aircon, beach towels, normal towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and a hairdryer as standard. We thought this was good and wished we had known before our trip as wouldn’t have packed our own items (these things were not all listed in the room itinery for TUI)
Food:
We stayed half board as all inclusive wasn’t offered and having read reviews we were a-bit worried about this aspect. Our biggest concerns were what it would cost us to buy drinks as without a shop you rely totally on the bar and the additional costs of lunch. So for us we went twice to a local supermarket as part of our trips out to the old town and Marina/Port and this solved the problem. Plenty of water, fizzy drinks and beer carried back by the four of us plus some snacks and we were fine keeping our room fridge stocked. There is no problem from the hotel you bringing this items into the dining room or bar/lobby/ poolside. We ate lunch from the bar menu on four occasions and in particular our teenagers loved the pizza, burger, pasta and club sandwich - a really good menu especially for more British traditional tastes. Cost wise a pizza was about £13 and a burger or pasta £18 and these were good size portions and by our home standards about what we would pay in our local pub so all good. Breakfast we felt was a good to really good offer, plenty of breads , cereal, yoghurt, cheeses and cold meats plus pastries every day, plus the cooked offer. Tea, coffee, juice, water all available on refill as you go. Bearing in mind the hotel is not large so the offer of food will match that there was always food available and it was topped up throughout service. Hot plates keep things at a servable temperature remember not “hot” but food was well presented, properly cooked and appeared to be well sourced. You could honestly eat as much as you wanted no problems at all going up three times or more - which one of our sons did and no one bothers so eat well! Evening meal was slightly but only slightly less effective for us but I want to caveat that with the fact that I by choice don’t eat a massive range of foods and my son is not an adventurous eater. This did mean that on more than one evening he and I ate the same which was plain pasta, chips and salad. However can I say that I consider this to be our doing not a failure on the hotels part. Each evening there was a meat dish however this was usually something on the bone, a fish dish either paella style or battered and something then pasta based often becoming the veggie option. What there wasn’t was plain food like sausages, nuggets, bolognese, pizza so if that’s what you eat you would be disappointed but from my travelling experience that is not what a buffet abroad means it was and should be relevant to the nation you are holidaying in and this hotel did just that. There was always a salad bar, always chips and always icecream! But other than that the buffet was more Mediterranean in style and in size comparable to the size of the hotel which is not massive. It was constantly topped up and again well presented. Just one night out of 7 the food was a little cooler than I would like but it was clean and fresh that’s not in doubt. Hospitality staff are superb and diligent friendly and not in your face it genuinely felt like they wanted to be helpful not just hoping for a tip at the end of the week!
Things to do:
We loved using both pools ( one of which is adult only) and our boys as they are young men not babies were using the adult pool with us as their behaviour was in line with what was expected. This was a bonus for us as we like a pool we can swim up and down in that hasn’t got inflatibles etc. this was a highlight for us of the holiday. Bar service extends to poolside which again was lovely. The larger family pool is right next to the sea so you have access to both from sunbeds poolside, on the sea ledge or in a garden area in front of the beach. This was good for when the lads wanted to throw a ball about but also they were able to swim in the sea, snorkel a bit and explore. The sea was quite choppy at times but nothing dangerous and the breeze was an added bonus on the 30degree plus days.
We had a wonderful time and would absoloutely return. My overriding comment would be that this hotel sells itself short on how lovely it is but it tells the truth about being located away from things and not having a full on package for young kids etc and its size is reflected in all that it offers. If this fits your bill then is deffo the place for you to stay. Fab time had by all 4 of us.
