Solid choice
Review is for 3 bedroom 2 baths apartment near Passeig De Gracia. This is the case where photographs are definitely paint a better picture. It looks very good on pictures, not so much in real life. So I would skip “luxury” entirely, at least from US point of view.
That being said, apartment has everything you need if you travel with family or friends. High points:
- location -excellent, walking distance to PDG and 10-15 euros Uber ride to major attractions
- safe area
- Many stores that you might need including pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
- kitchen is reasonably stocked and has nespresso type coffee machine
- plenty of good food choices around for a quick bite and more.
- top brands shopping near by (PDG) so if you are in BCN to shop - very convenient as you do not want to walk with your expensive shopping bags around BCN
- A/C works well, which is important during hot summer days/nights (our case)
- Service is excellent, Daniel and his colleagues were very accommodating and helpful, both speak solid English and are very nice. This is very important.
Not too crazy about:
- views from windows are not that great
- beds are not the best, luxury has nothing to do with it, but after busy days you sleep well anyway :)
-furniture in general is cheap, definitely not luxury :)
- sound proofing may be improved, but not critical. However, if you are a light sleeper, you may be bothered.
Overall, solid choice if you want to be in a center of beautiful Barcelona with large group of people at reasonable price.

Would stay again in a heartbeat
Our family of 4 (including a teenage son and daughter) had a fantastic stay in a Seneca Luxury Suite. Having never been to Barcelona, we did a lot of research on various areas to stay. We wanted to be within walking distance of most major attractions, in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and in accommodations that fit our family well. Barcelona Seneca Suites met all of these and exceeded our expectations. The 3-bedroom, 2 full bathroom apartment was so spacious. We appreciated being able to wash clothes (but plan for 2-3 hours for the dryer). The customer service from Daniel was fantastic, making check in a breeze. We absolutely loved the Gracia neighborhood. Walking that clean, wide-sidewalk, tree-lined street each day was a delight. We walked to La Rambla (not a fan), the Gothic Quarter (loved it), and could have walked to Sagrada Familia but when we went we were coming from Tibidabo so we took a cab. If we return to Barcelona, we will stay here again.

Perfect stay
This apartment was PERFECT. Highly recommend this for anyone. It was VERY clean and in a perfect location. The area was Grácia and this was perfect location for non-tourist things, lots of shops bars and restaurants close by. Really recommend the apartment. There’s also a lift available too. The host Jordi was friendly and gave good information of restaurants and bars.

Apartment Seneca Green
We recently stayed here for 4 nights with friends. The apartment was very spacious and clean on arrival. We were advised that check in wasn't until the afternoon, but when we got there we were able to check in early. It had everything that you would expect (apart from a kettle!). Location is good and its easy to get out to explore the city. The chap in reception was good at giving tips on places to visit too.
It seemed a secure location with CCTV and electronic key locks on the door. We also had a safe in the apartment which you set to your own security code, which gave peace of mind.
The only thing I wasn't sure about was the maid service. We paid to have the service, however at no point during our stay did I see a maid or any evidence that one had been in our apartment.
As it is an apartment, you are very much left to your own devices. Reception isn't manned all the time, so keep the phone number handy in case you need to get in touch with them. WiFi signal was good, dipped a bit in the afternoons but most of the time we all received full signal.
All in all the apartment was great... We would use them again. Had a fantastic relaxing holiday in a beautiful city! :)
The neighbours on the other hand were not so great, unfortunately we were landed with very noisy people next to us and above which on some nights was very hard to ignore. The flat above seemed to enjoy moving furniture all hours (or that's what it sounded like) and the apartment next to us were just loud!
Not the apartments fault, as they can't control the people, however it did make sleep a little difficult, so be prepared just in case you get noisy neighbours!

We were robbed at this apartment
I would look elsewhere and find a place that has better security in place. The building doesn’t have security cameras, and for the 3 weeks we were staying there, they never changed the front door code. We left for dinner at 8:45pm and came back to our room being robbed. They stole laptops, cash, jewelry and a piece of luggage to store everything in. Someone watched us leave and knew when we returned. They went to the 3rd floor and got in our flat. All windows and doors were locked and no damage to the door or inside the apartment. It’s a very safe area, but I’d look elsewhere. The property managers were not helpful or sympathetic at all. We still love Barcelona and I highly recommend the city, but for your protection and safety stay somewhere else!
