Nice room near the station on a quite street

Small hotel on a big quite road, our room faced the main road but it wasn’t noisy, the ac was more noisy! 8 mins walk from Barcelona Sants station but a bit far from the main sights. Taxi was about €11 to Sagrada Família. There is only one round mirror in the bathroom, no mirror in the room. Room seem clean and looks renovated. There are no hooks to hang your towels or clothes in the bathroom. The mini fridge is in the wall near the TV, drinks not free and one night stay the city tax was €18. Staff was friendly and you can ask to borrow the iron. We were only given one key card, it was fine for a one night stay.

Great place to stay. Near lots of transportation options. Very helpful staff. Would stay again 🙂

Very professional stuff, nice, and clean. Very convenient to catch bus, train, metro, etc. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't need to have that again.

So when and by whom this hotel received 4 stars is a mystery to me. We were accommodated there for a weekend. It feels like the furnishings are from the late 70s/early 80s, even if they have used a bit of paint and decor here and there. The rooms are accessible via 2 elevators. The air conditioning in our room did its best, but could only achieve something at the 10°C temperature setting and max fan speed. Let everything run during the day and sleep quickly at night. You can find the breakfast room on the 1st floor. So we were 6 people, after everyone had taken 1 roll, the basket was empty. There was scrambled eggs, bacon (although only one corner was crispy, the rest was swimming in grease). Also, the croissants and 2 types of sausage did not make it a real breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of a metro station. I would like to point out here, please do not be misled by the 4 stars.

It was quite, clean ,comfortable with a good breakfast and close to Santa railway station.
I think it would benefit from a kettle we arrive late and really wanted a cup of tea
