Great place

Best place to stay in Barcelona.
They do activities where you can meet guests and also life in Barcelona.
Clean, comfortable, in good location and with the best attention by the team.
I would definitely go back there!

A disgrace. I don't wish it on anyone.

I have received completely unacceptable treatment. When I arrived at reception, there was a problem with the reservation and they wanted to kick me out without letting me talk. I have spoken to the two reception girls who have shouted at me and discriminated against me with degrading insults towards my physical appearance, towards my person and towards my integrity. This hostel should rethink hiring people like that. When I asked to speak to a manager or superior, I was told that there was no one superior to them and I could not speak to anyone else. I am looking for a legal way to put this situation on the record and report it because it is really intolerable. A real shame.

Este comentario no refleja la realidad. La persona que lo escribió no se alojó en nuestro hostel y es la misma que, en su función de tutor en una fundación, derivó a un joven con problemas de drogas, dependencia y dificultades de comunicación, sin aviso ni coordinación previa, intentando alojarlo en una habitación compartida con otras 11 personas.
Nuestro hostel es un alojamiento juvenil, no un recurso asistencial ni terapéutico. No tenemos competencias ni obligación legal de cuidar a personas vulnerables, y aceptar esta situación habría supuesto un riesgo grave para nuestros huéspedes y para el propio joven. Por ello se aplicó el derecho de admisión, siguiendo normativa vigente y criterios de seguridad y convivencia.
Durante la interacción telefónica con la tutora, la persona se negó a identificarse, reaccionó de forma hostil, insultante y amenazante, llegando a llamarnos “hija d…”, y luego publicó este comentario falso. Tras comunicarnos los hechos a sus superiores, no hubo disculpas ni reconocimiento de responsabilidad, evidenciando una grave falta de profesionalidad y de sentido común, especialmente para alguien que debería velar por terceros.
Este episodio demuestra una negligencia institucional que cualquier profesional sensato reconocería de inmediato. Queda patente que, cuando la gestión de personas vulnerables se hace sin criterios responsables, los riesgos recaen sobre quienes sí cumplen su deber, y eso debería servir como advertencia para cualquier institución.
Nuestra prioridad seguirá siendo siempre la seguridad, la convivencia y el respeto, y no aceptaremos que la irresponsabilidad ajena ponga en peligro a nuestros huéspedes o al personal.

Excellent option in Barcelona in a quality hostel

Very good experience, clean, beautiful and tidy, in a tastefully themed hostel.
Comfortable mattress and good pillow
Employees involved in the service, especially Martín who coincided at the reception on the first day and at departure

Bed bugs all over the body

Awful. I have been going to hostels for many years and nothing like this has ever happened to me, I have bedbug bites all over my body. I had to go to the hospital because I had never had a situation like this and they put me on hydrocortisol treatment. I recommend not going.

Primero debemos aclarar que tu comentario es completamente falso. Nosotros seguimos protocolos muy estrictos y realizamos tratamientos y seguimientos semanales. No hemos tenido ninguna incidencia de lo que mencionas.
Además, no encontramos tu registro en nuestro sistema ni ninguna queja similar. Si realmente hubieras sido afectado en nuestro hostel, habrías informado al recepcionista de inmediato y te habríamos asistido de ser cierto. Las picaduras se manifiestan de inmediato, no después de llegar a casa.
Nuestras habitaciones son compartidas, y si esto hubiera ocurrido, otros huéspedes habrían tenido el mismo problema antes, durante y después de la estancia. No nos parece correcto hacer comentarios falsos, ya que detrás de todo esto hay un arduo trabajo por parte de todo el personal.
Siendo viajero y teniendo mucha experiencia en hostels, como mencionas, solo veo un comentario en tu perfil lo cual también resulta bastante sospechoso.

Stupendous

We are 5 guys and we stayed 3 nights and 4 days. This hostel is very aesthetically pleasing and is located in a fantastic location in Barcelona, a stone's throw from the metro and bus stations. The rooms are ok and the bathrooms are clean, plus there is a kitchen equipped with everything, where you can cook in company and with other guests from all over the world. The staff (all very friendly and helpful) organize some special events every evening, such as tours of the typical bars of Barcelona, disco evenings and group dinners. I had a lot of fun, highly recommended!!!!
