Good
I stayed here for 1 week in September and it was a good experience! Room and hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some spoke more English than others which wasn't too much of a problem as my friend is fluent in Spanish so that made things a lot easier but even still they were all very friendly and polite! There is always someone on the reception desk too! I had a great view from my room. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby and pool area so i had to spend more money on data for my phone. Pool was separate to the hotel which i found a bit strange at first but it wasn't that big of deal was a quick and quiet walk to across the road. Pool area was nice too. The location was ideal!! Literally less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and main strip of bars, restaurants and shops! Special shoutout to the older gentleman who was on the reception desk over night, he was lovely and made both me and my friend feel safe when coming back from the bars/ club!

Hello, I stayed on the 6th floor in room 604. The view was amazing. Now about the room – the bathroom was a disaster, the water barely came out of the shower. The internet doesn’t work on the 6th floor. If you want coffee in the morning in your room, you have to pay for a kettle. There are no utensils or cups in the room. The rooms are cleaned every day, but the towels were not changed during my entire one-week stay.
However, for a 2-star hotel and if you’re staying in room 604, it’s actually pretty good. The location is excellent – just a 2-minute walk to the sea. The pool is small, but it’s enough since there aren’t many people around it.

Super nice stay hotel Sultan anno 2025
The hotel was really nice and clean as well as the rooms and beds were really good neat bathrooms, friendly staff can be clearly recommended.

Pleasantly surprised, great for 2*
I felt that this hotel needed an updated review as I was pretty apprehensive once I read through after booking.
Hotel:
The hotel has most definitely had a refurbishment, the rooms are clean and modern with a walk in shower, storage space and desk area, there is a fridge and safety deposit box at an additional expense. We had a balcony with a sea view (6th floor).
Unfortunately there was no WiFi as far as I’m aware but the smart TV was easily accessible with a mobile phone hotspot so we were able to utilise the apps.
The breakfast offered was minimal but equally everything you needed, there were both hot and cold options, pastries and coffee/juice machine. It runs from around 8-10.
The pool area is accessed through the back of the hotel, about two steps across the road. It is small but there are sunbeds and chairs to use. It is open from around 9-19:00. We didn’t use the pool as the hotel is so close to the beach but it would be adequate enough if you were not a beachgoer.
Note: there is a tourist tax to pay on arrival.

Drive away from this hotel. I don't even deserve a star.
There is only one thing that is good about this hotel and it is the location.
Totally exhausted hotel. Drive away. Nothing has been done here since 1990. The first thing that meets us is an elevator that doesn't work. It didn't work the 14 days we stayed there. Luckily we stayed in 4 eta so we could use the stairs. It was worse for those who lived in 6-7 eta. There was a small elevator with space for 3 people (300 kg) but it was always busy. Since there are about 90 rooms in the hotel.
The room looked like it hadn't been done since 1990. The paint in the ceiling had loosened and there was flakes hanging down from the ceiling. And several places there was no paint at all. The furniture was worn out and stained. With several burned holes. The same was the curtains that were full of holes. The water in the hotel responded so salt that the shower battery in the shower had started and rust. The cleaning was like that. The shower walls were not washed in the 14 days we were there. There has been a radio in bed gift. Where the buttons were supposed to be were only 2 holes which are perfect for putting small fingers inside ⁇ ️. There is only a 220v connector in the room and one in the bathroom. The one in the bathroom was extremely dirty.
We had to pay over 400 NOK to be allowed to use the refrigerator in the room. There the wood had dissolved under the refrigerator of moisture.
Breakfast was not much and boast of. Steer away from the coffee machine and the yogurt dispenser. Then they get water from the local water plant and it tastes salt.
The pool was dirty. With a lot of dirt on the bottom. Especially the children's pool. The large pool has a fat edge after sun oils. Wasn't washed the 14 days we were there.
It seems the owners were just looking for profit. Because they haven't cost much at this hotel.
