Good service and dealing with all the people

The place is fantastic and the treatment with the workers is very good.
The facilities are good and the cleaning is very good.
The people who arrived had pets and the truth is that you don't even know where they are, they are very respectful
We stayed for 3 days and we liked the access they have to all the places

Nasty staff

The person who answered us by phone has been very unpleasant with us. He interrupted me and hung up the phone without letting me talk, being very edged, when I was just calling to book a room. Bravo. We will be happy to go anywhere else.

Improveable

Let's start with the good, the hotel had incredible views of Cantabria, with a very tasty breakfast. However, the double bed was too small, at most an adult and a small child would enter, on the other hand, the hotel was a little out of hand, since it is in Travia, also, outside the hotel there is a very untapped field, they could have put a pool or expand the area of the rooms or some more complement so that the hotel will reach at least 3 stars, finally, the partitions of the room of very fine as we listened to the other guests.

Outside town with a View

This stone inn is located outside of town (about 5 min by car), up a narrow lane. The gardens surrounding it is pleasant, and it has a nice view of the countryside. Parking is free in their front courtyard. You will need car to drive into town for restaurants or to see the Capricho de Gaudi (definitely a must-see). There's lots of free parking in Comillas.
The room is of average size, but the furnishings are dated. There are very few power outlets available for your devices. There was no air con, so we were unable to control the temperature in the room.

Lovely situation and price

A family run hotel with few frills but lots going for it. We had a great room - 103?- overlooking the garden towards a small holding with cattle, egrets and sheep with their bells around. There was no air con - so could be a problem in high summer. Breakfast was adequate but the huge toasted croissant was a delight.
