Not a socket next to all bunks and one by mine, although worked, was hanging out of wall!
Not all toilets working but shower rooms plenty of space.
Breakfast was nice touch, basic c but ok for being included.
Took a while to find as door was not obvious!

Budget-Friendly but Basic—Check-In for Location, Not Luxury

Staying in Girona to attend an event nearby. Not a bad location for general tourism in the region. Location:
This hostel is in a great location, close to the old town and just a short walk from buses and the train station. While I didn’t have a car, parking options are available nearby for those who need them.
Room/Comfort:
The hostel room was clean but not very modern. The beds were tightly packed, making it difficult to move around—especially with luggage—and entering or exiting discreetly was a challenge. The door was unconventional, and locking/unlocking it was noisy, which could be disruptive when others were trying to sleep.
There weren’t enough plug sockets for guests, and the only light source was the main light, which isn’t ideal for a hostel environment.
Facilities:
Lockers are available for free, both inside and outside the rooms, though I’m not sure how they are allocated—presumably based on availability. There’s a dining area and kitchen on both floors, but they’re only accessible when staff are on duty (not during the day or early morning). The kitchens weren’t well-equipped—cups and clean cutlery were hard to find—and I personally wouldn’t cook there due to cleanliness concerns.
Service:
I only interacted with staff during check-in, but they were polite and friendly.
Extras:
Breakfast was included and continental-style, with cereals, toast, ham, cheese, and spreads. However, on one morning, breakfast wasn’t available, so don’t rely on it.
Final Note:
I struggled with the internal main door on the upper floor—it required a specific trick to unlock (something about pulling it), which I never quite figured out.

It is not advisable

I will not recommend this place to anyone, starting from Service, there is boy bad education enters the room midnight and in the morning soon pasting voices without letting people rest, second best not shower not use the bathroom because you will host an illness due to lack of cleanliness, it is not advisable to pay a little more to book a better hotel, because this bed in girona is disgusting never in my life I have seen anything like it, they put me in a small room there were 6 beds on top of each other, the people where they put me seems to live there for life clothes all over the room better food I do not say more and I finish my advice this place is disgusting, it is not advisable of me

Well except for one employee

When we went down to breakfast so cold that we had to get breakfast in the room, people coming down to breakfast and the employee opening the windows and cleaning when she is having breakfast? the same employee who another client in front of us was yelling at her saying that she works and counting the salaries of her colleagues or the obligations of the boss.

This hostel was the worst I visited during my 4 weeks in Spain.
It is well located but very dirty, beds worn out, water in the shower cold and no toilet paper.
In the kitchen in the second floor I had a massive cockroach
