The location is very practical for Atocha train station. The flat is spacious and well furnished.
The only little issues were the lack of response when messaging the host and their phone was unreachable. We also only had 2 sets of towel for 4. Noise insolation from the front door should be better as the building has many loud people not filtered through by a good door.
But apart from that it’s great value for money and would use again if I need to take a train from Atocha.

Nightmare
DO NOT BOOK DIRECT WITH THIS COMPANY. We booked a 2-night stay for 5 people at the Atocha location, paying extra for a 2-bathroom apartment with air conditioning. It was a complete disaster from start to finish.
Upon arrival, the original room was unbearably hot and the AC was entirely broken. After hours of arguing with a remote WhatsApp assistant, they forced us to move to a completely different location. They refused to pay for the €25 taxi ride to get there.The second room was a massive downgrade—much smaller and only had 1 bathroom instead of the 2 we paid for. Worse, the AC in the second room was also broken and blowing hot air. After a miserable evening in the heat, their only solution was to move our group of 5 a THIRD time. With zero confidence in their properties, we checked out immediately.
We requested a refund upon departure. It has now been weeks, and despite multiple follow-ups, management has completely ignored our emails and ghosted us. They took our money, provided a defective and downgraded product, and refuse to communicate. Save your money and stay somewhere with real, on-site customer service.

The lack of staff onsite is a problem. The instructions on using the access codes were very sketchy. I needed assistance but no one answered the phone when I called the number given. Then I was locked in my room because of a problem with the door. When I managed to get out, i could not lock the door behind me. Again, no answer to my phone call. It was clean and centrally located but I cannot recommend the place.

An excellent option in Madrid. Very well located near Atocha. Super clean and comfortable.

Excellent!
The apartment was very clean and well equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the basic utensils, which allowed us to prepare some meals easily, something very practical when traveling with children. The bed was comfortable and the sofa was also perfect to rest after a day of walks.
The location is excellent, close to supermarkets, restaurants and areas of interest, which made our travels much easier. In addition, the surroundings were quiet, ideal for resting at night.
We also want to highlight the friendliness of the host, who was attentive throughout and gave us very useful recommendations about the area.
It is certainly a highly recommended option for families traveling with children. If we go back to the city, we would repeat without hesitation.
