Shocking attitude to complaints

Arrived in the dark to what can only be described as a run down building. It even had a different name "Don Juan". No one to greet us communication was on WhatsApp with pictures. Just wanted to get some sleep. The bedroom door casing was damaged along with the plasterwork. See photos. Next day saw the place was huge. Massive balcony in main area and another off the main bedroom. Signs of structural movement, vertical cracks on the balcony wall and floor tiles. Raised ironwork on external drains. Moved furniture to avoid accidental trips. Lack of cooking facilities for long stay. We knew it was isolated but this place is really isolated. Monday came and work started on the pool next door. They were quite well on with it but we weren't informed to give us an opportunity to cancel. The noise was horrendous with a jack hammer and various power tools. I am recovering from brain surgery and needed peace and quiet and said we would have to move location and if requested a refund for the unused part of the stay. She offered us another room which was dull and dingy with a wobbly steel spiral staircase. Totally unsuitable. I again requested a refund. She needed to speak to her boss. I sent her all the pictures and videos that I'm posting today of the defects and then she got angry and accused me of blackmailing her. She refused to communicate and ee left for more suitable accommodation. Don't be fooled by the reviews on booking.com, they don't represent reality
