Too bad that a place with so many possibilities is so neglected. We stayed at this pazo last Holy Thursday, April 4, 2026. When we arrived, the access road surprised us with a few pits and in the parking lot we did not know where to go as there are no indicative signs to go to the reception. That’s why we get confused and already notice dirty, abandoned garden elements and vegetation just as neglected. When we intuitively managed to reach the entrance, the balcony bars were rusty, the windows of the doors dirty and again intuitively we managed to reach a kind of counter that was unattended. First we were attended by a teenager who told us that he was going to look for his father, who arrived and only took the documentation from one of us. He accompanied us to the room, very courteous gesture on his part but only to the door and that surprised us although later we understood that it is because the rooms are not numbered and that gesture so kind was only a practical way. Already in the (upper) room again we realized the disaster we were facing: dirty bedding, fabrics from two dirty sofas, old black wood from the humidity, and all this bathed in a very rancid smell. The atmosphere felt loaded, as if it were never ventilated, and the air became very dense. The superior room has many windows and our surprise was that in the bathroom were also all windows and had to lower different curtains to be able to make use of it. The rest of the room also had curtains, although in the bedroom area they worked electrically except for a couple of them. But the living room had more and more curtains. I don’t know how many curtains we could go down, more than 10 I think, which makes the room very unfunctional. Of course, the curtains weren't clean either. Panoramic views were the only thing that saved that situation. Due to the cost we had assumed, 170€, we decided to spend the night there although we were about to leave the establishment. We lay on top of the bed without undoing it and the characteristic smell made us sleep very intermittently to which added a lot of mucus due to the dust that was accumulated there. The next morning, a man who identified himself as the brother of the one who had checked us in neither asked us about our stay nor commented. We just wanted to leave. And I repeat, it is a shame that a place with such a special enclave and so many possibilities is in that situation. What is unforgivable is the dirt and lack of cleanliness in the rooms, inside and outside the hotel. Intolerable! I understand that the property needs a lot of investment to fit it out but the lack of cleanliness is only the result of the carelessness and bad doing of this family business. I hope the management will make a proper decision but there are untenable situations as you sense in this case.
A greeting
