A good place

It's the third year I've come in a row, very clean and attentive staff and breakfast the gizzard I love. Silvia's attention and kindness give you the feeling of being at home, I recommend it.

Simplicity and convenience

As soon as I arrived I was afraid that the highway would be noisy in the evening and instead my room was in the back and extremely quiet. The basic but well cleaned room with comfortable beds. The bathroom a bit dated but windowed and with all the services. At the reception very kind staff provided us with instructions to visit Tarifa and the beaches around in addition to the nice places to eat. To visit the town you have to have a car while for the beaches just cross the road.

This property is NOT a hostel but more like a motor inn. My husband and I made our booking online in a hurry since we were driving and had to stay the night somewhere in Tarifa. Unfortunately the usual front desk staff at Hostal El Levante were on holidays at the time but Rocio and Diego, the owners, were so wonderful and made sure everything was set up to make our check in very easy. As soon as the booking was confirmed, they sent us a message to inform us that there wouldn’t be anyone available to check us into our rooms but, since they knew we were coming in late after a long drive, they made sure to give us all the info we needed so we could find our room and check in right away when we got there. Diego also made sure the room was clean and comfy (aired the room and then set the thermostat) when we came.
The Inn is along the highway and is about 10-15 minutes drive from town. They do have a restaurant (but it was closed when we arrived) but if you do require other things, you may need to venture out as it’s not close to the commercial area. However, if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, this is a good option. We only stayed one night but we were glad we found this place.

Everything new in the room.

We stayed last week at the Hostal El levante (Tarifa).
The truth is that we were favorably surprised since they have renovated rooms. The floor, walls, bathroom, etc....all new.
They even have a small kitchen very useful for breakfast or dinner.
Everything was very clean and the beds very comfortable.
Definitely worth it after the renovation.
We'll be back soon, for sure.

A pleasant surprise, to return.

Newly renovated with good beds, very friendly receptionist and good breakfast in the cafeteria. It is surprising when you arrive since you expect less than what they offer. Good parking and natural alarm clock since at 6:30 or 7:00 you are woken up by the crowing roosters. Good shower.
